  • Publication number: 20240152245
Abstract: A computer system displays a first object that includes at least a first portion of the first object and a second portion of the first object and detects a first gaze input that meets first criteria, wherein the first criteria require that the first gaze input is directed to the first portion of the first object in order for the first criteria to be met. In response, the computer system displays a first control element that corresponds to a first operation associated with the first object, wherein the first control element was not displayed prior to detecting that the first gaze input met the first criteria, and detects a first user input directed to the first control element. In response to detecting the first user input directed to the first control element, the computer system performs the first operation with respect to the first object.

  • Publication number: 20120222911
Abstract: An apparatus (1) is used to turn steerable vehicle wheels (50, 52). The apparatus includes a valve (92, 120) which is operated in response to an output from a steering angle sensor (80). When a piston (2) in a power steering motor (12) has reached an end of stroke position, an output from the steering angle sensor (80) operates the valve (92, 120) to interrupt operation of the power steering motor.

  • Patent number: 7225894
Abstract: An engine driven pump 24 is connected with a power steering motor assembly 18. An electric motor 36 drives a pump 34 connected with the power steering motor assembly 18. A control apparatus 38, 44, 52, 62 and 72 effects operation of the electric motor 36 to drive the pump 34 when the power steering motor assembly 18 requires fluid in addition to fluid supplied by the engine driven pump 24.

  • Patent number: 6257088
Abstract: An apparatus (10) comprises a vehicle steering shaft (12) rotatable about an axis (24) and a rotatable steering wheel (14). A member (16) drivingly connects the steering wheel (14) and steering shaft (12) to rotate the steering shaft about the axis upon rotation of the steering wheel. The steering wheel (14) has a straight ahead angular position relative to the steering shaft (12). The apparatus (10) includes structure for enabling the steering wheel straight ahead angular position relative to the steering shaft (12) to be changed. The structure includes cooperating portions (32, 44) of the steering shaft (12) and the member (16) which enable a coarse angular adjustment of the member relative to the steering shaft and cooperating portions (62, 92) of the steering wheel (14) and the member which enable a fine angular adjustment of the steering wheel relative to the member. The fine angular adjustment is of an angle smaller than the coarse angular adjustment.
