Abstract: A drawer assembly is provided for an enclosure which includes a first interior surface and a second interior surface which are opposite one another. The drawer assembly includes a drawer, a first rack, a second rack, a first linear motion element and a second linear motion element. The drawer is configured to be insertable in the enclosure. The first rack and the second rack are mounted respectively near the first interior surface and the second interior surface. The first linear motion element and the second linear motion element are mounted respectively near the first interior surface and the second interior surface. Each of the linear motion elements is configured to enable movement of the drawer in and out of the enclosure. Each of the linear motion elements includes a pinion configured to rotate along a corresponding rack as the drawer is moved in and out of the enclosure.

Abstract: A pull-out drawer assembly for a refrigerator bottom freezer. The assembly includes upper and lower baskets slidably mounted one above the other. The bottom basket has a drawer face mounted to its front edge. The upper basket has a magnet which cooperates with an engagement device that is mounted on the lower basket and is attractable to the magnet so that, when the drawer is pulled out of the freezer compartment, both drawers travel as a unit. The upper drawer can then be pushed back to disengage the engagement device from the magnet and provide access to the lower basket.

Abstract: A method of assembling a cabinet and an apparatus assembled according to the method are provided. The cabinet includes a shell with internal walls, a first compartment liner and a second compartment liner configured to be housed within the shell. The first compartment liner includes a first liner face and defines a first compartment. The second compartment liner includes a second liner face and defines a second compartment. The method includes the steps of positioning a pair of elongate supports between the first compartment liner and the second compartment liner such that the first liner face and the second liner face are adjacent one another and spaced apart.

Abstract: A tappet suitable for use with a fluid pump, wherein the tappet comprises a side wall portion and an end face which define an internal chamber of the tappet, the end face having a drive surface for co-operating with a drive arrangement, in use, and a plurality of vents through said end face for allowing fluid flow between the internal chamber and an area outside the tappet. A plurality of longitudinal grooves are formed in an internal surface of said side wall portion, said grooves communicating with respective said vents to form a flow path for fluid into the internal chamber. The invention also relates to a pump assembly having such a tappet.

Abstract: A computer controlled information management system is disclosed, including one or more documents. Documents in the system consist of attributes, each attribute having a name and a value. Attributes that are permanently stored with a document are permanent attributes. Attributes which are created only when a document is currently being displayed are ephemeral attributes. Ephemeral attributes store information regarding the visual display of the documents. Ephemeral attributes may be converted into permanent attributes and stored with the documents after the user is done referencing or modifying them. Ephemeral attributes may also be transferred between multiple simultaneous users of a common document through system communications channels. Documents are stored in repositories for long term storage, and are only sent to a client user interface when needed. The repositories are typically on server devices or secondary storage, but may also be in the same unit as the server.

Abstract: A system for retrieval of documents in a client-server environment is disclosed. The system provides compatibility between an attribute based document display system and diverse query languages within remote document repositories. The system includes a local process running on a client module, and a remote process running within each document repository. Each remote process is designed for the particular model of computer used for the server. Each remote process executes a System Query Language (SQL) used by a particular database program running on the server. A particular server may have several database programs implemented thereon, and each database program has a dedicated remote process, where the remote process is matched to the particular database program. The local process on the user's workstation launches inquiries in a first format on the network. Each remote process receiving an inquiry translates the received inquiry into the System Query Language required by its server and its database program.
