  • Publication number: 20260010543
Abstract: Artificial Intelligence-assisted building/execution of federated data layer for enterprise engineering: A system trains at least one machine-learning model to identify information about industrial assets from training data, then map the information to a federated data model. The system retrieves information about data from an application in an industrial asset. The at least one machine-learning model identifies types of the data, relationships between the data, and patterns of the data, from the information and based on data types, data relationships, and data patterns in the federated data model. The at least one machine-learning model maps the types of the data, the relationships between the data, and the patterns of the data to the federated data model. The system identifies knowledge about the types of the data, the relationships between the data, and/or the patterns of the data in the federated data model, in response to a query about data.

  • Publication number: 20160142900
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and devices are described for continuity of a wireless serial bus (WSB) service across multiple WSB service sessions. A host may perform a discovery process with a device as part of WSB service session establishment. The host may determine an identifier that is unique to the WSB service provided during the first WSB service session and send the unique identifier to the device. If the WSB service session is terminated, the host may establish a second WSB service session with the device using the unique identifier and without performing another discovery process with the device. The WSB service may support universal serial bus (USB) over Wi-Fi services.

  • Patent number: 9193618
Abstract: Apparatus, systems and methods for alignment of a glass member for high temperature processing are disclosed. The high temperature processing can, for example, pertain to a slumping process to mold glass into a predetermined shape (e.g., a three-dimensional shape). In one embodiment, a glass slumping system can have a mold and an alignment system that support a glass member to be slumped relative to the mold. The alignment system may have a plurality of alignment members being configured to move away from the glass member as the temperature increases during the slumping process to allow the glass member to bend around the mold without interference.

  • Patent number: 9037966
Abstract: A method and computer system are described for conducting commercial transactions. An enhanced type of XML schema may be used which supports integrity constraints and polymorphism. Schemas are identified by the use of Uniform Resource Names. XML processors residing on transaction servers or trading partner servers parse document instances by retrieving the URNs corresponding to the schemas used to interpret the document. The URNs are converted to location-dependent URIs in order to locate the schemas. URNs are resolved to location-dependent URIs by use of the LDAP protocol. URNs may be converted to LDAP URLs which are used to search LDAP compliant directories. The directories serve as registries for the URI values corresponding to the URNs.

  • Patent number: 8935782
Abstract: Access is obtained to a plurality of information flow theories for a plurality of malicious programs. The information flow theories include differences in information flows between the malicious programs, executing in a controlled environment, and information flows of known benign programs. Execution of a suspicious program is monitored by comparing runtime behavior of the suspicious program to the plurality of information flow theories. An alarm is output if the runtime behavior of the suspicious program matches at least one of the plurality of information flow theories.

  • Patent number: 8892238
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for shaping an edge at a juncture of two adjoining surfaces of a part. A first surface and a second surface of the part are abraded by contacting a polishing surface of a polishing wheel to the first surface and to the second surface. The polishing surface spins in opposite rotational directions about an axis parallel to the edge when contacting the first and second surfaces respectively. The polishing surface moves at different translational speeds and the polishing wheel spins at different rotational speeds along straight segments and along curved segments of the edge. The shaped edge has a visually smooth and geometrically uniform appearance.

  • Patent number: 8549882
Abstract: Apparatus, systems and methods for forming complex edges on a glass member through the use of a glass slumping process are disclosed. According to one aspect of the invention, a method of forming a complex edge in a glass forming process includes grinding an edge of a glass member and polishing the edge of the glass member. Grinding the edge of the glass member causes the edge of the glass member to have a first level of complexity. The method also includes performing a slumping process on the glass member. Performing the slumping process causes the edge of the glass member to have a second level of complexity that is more complex than the first level of complexity.
