  • Publication number: 20140062505
Abstract: A non-resistive contact sensor assembly includes an electric field sensor device, a cover, and a biasing structure. The electric field sensor devices has a dry electrode component for receiving an electrical signal from an object of interest by capacitively coupling with the entity. The signal processing component is surrounded or embedded in the cover. The biasing structure is disposed on the outside of the cover and is adapted to press the dry electrode component against a surface of the object interest when biased by an external structure.

  • Publication number: 20120330108
Abstract: A method of correlating sonic activity with electric activity in an entity of interest includes interrogating, via a sonic sensor device, the physical structure, shape and/or form of an object in the entity of interest, interrogating, via an electric field sensor, the electric and/or magnetic potential associated with the object or the physical displacement of the geo-electric field by the object while avoiding resistive contact with other portions of the entity of interest, and linking results from the sonic sensor device to results from the electric field sensor.

  • Publication number: 20060032391
Abstract: Pyrotechnic systems and associated methods are disclosed. In one embodiment, a pyrotechnic system includes a combustible material in a housing having a first and second portion. The first portion of the housing can have an inlet for receiving combustion products and the second portion can have an outlet to propagate combustion between the second portion of the housing and the combustible material. The system can further include a combustible carrier material movable from the first portion of the housing to the second portion of the housing. The combustible carrier material can be ignited in a first portion of the housing and capable of sustaining combustion while being moved to the second portion of the housing. Additional embodiments can include a seal positioned to block a migration of combustion products between the first and second portions of the housing when the combustible carrier material is in the first portion of the housing.

  • Publication number: 20050193185
Abstract: Methods and systems for executing SIMD instructions that efficiently implement new SIMD instructions and conventional existing SIMD MAC-type instructions, while avoiding replication of functions in order to keep the size of the logic circuit size to as low a level as can reasonably be achieved. An instruction unit executes Single Instruction Multiple Data instructions, including instructions acting on operands representing complex numbers. The instruction unit includes functional blocks that are commonly utilized to execute a plurality of the instructions, wherein the plurality of instructions utilize various individual functional blocks in various combinations with one another. The plurality of instructions is optionally executed in a pipeline fashion.
