  • Publication number: 20240303522
Abstract: Circuits are provided that create entanglement among qubits having Gottesman-Kitaev-Preskill (GKP) encoding using photonic systems and structures. For example, networks of beam splitters and homodyne measurement circuits can be used to perform projective entangling measurements on GKP qubits from different quantum systems. In some embodiments. GKP qubits can be used to implement quantum computations using fusion-based quantum computing or other fault-tolerant quantum computing approaches.

  • Patent number: 11898135
Abstract: A closed-loop perfusion system may include a sealed biological culture container configured to house a biological cell culture, and a filtering unit that permits passage of waste products from an output of the sealed biological cell culture container, permits passage of nutrients from a nutrient media solution, and blocks passage of beneficial molecules from the output of the sealed biological cell culture container. The system may further include a first fluid path between an output of the sealed biological cell culture container and an input of the filtering unit, a second fluid path between an output of the filtering unit and an input of the sealed biological cell culture, and a pump to control the flow of media through the first fluid path and the second fluid path.

  • Publication number: 20220067864
Abstract: An electronic healthcare data de-identification system can accept data containing personally-identifiable information and output de-identified healthcare data that is uniquely identifiable and has preserved temporal order. The unique identity of the de-identified healthcare data is preserved with universally unique identifiers and the temporal order of the de-identified healthcare data is maintained with universally unique sequence values that synchronize the timing of healthcare events. The embodiments described herein make healthcare data more accessible to users without endangering their privacy and allow conclusions to be made from large sets of data without restricting its use due to privacy concerns. Other embodiments are also described.
