Patent number: 11540439Abstract: A lawn mower includes a seat plate movably coupled to the frame. An operator seat is coupled to the seat plate. An armrest is laterally spaced from the operator seat and includes an elongated support, an arm support surface, and a control panel. The elongated support has a first end fixed to the seat plate and a second end. The arm support surface is coupled to the second end and can support a user's arm. The control panel is positioned between the arm support surface and the second end of the elongated support. The control panel is fixed to the elongated support for movement with the seat plate such that the control panel remains stationary relative to the seat plate. The control panel includes an actuator to control a function of the lawn mower. The actuator is configured to be actuated while the user's arm is on the support surface.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 2019Date of Patent: January 3, 2023Assignee: Ariens CompanyInventors: Daniel J. Patent number: 7713182Abstract: An exercise device comprises a frame, including a pair of arcuate rails having a central curved portion, a first end, and a second end. The pair of rails are disposed in fixed parallel relation with one another with a first end member interconnecting the first ends of the rails and a second end member interconnecting the second ends of the rails. The exercise device further comprises a platform operatively connected to the frame for supporting a person thereon. The device may be oriented in various orientations including: 1) a rocking orientation wherein the curved portions of the pair of rails abut a surface on which the device is placed such that the device may move in a rocking motion relative to the surface and 2) a stationary orientation wherein the first end member and the second end member abut the surface on which the device is placed such that the device is stationary relative to the surface.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 2007Date of Patent: May 11, 2010Assignee: Edison Nation, LLCInventors: Daniel Lee Bizzell, Andrew Donati, Ryan Gorman, Chris Hoy, Todd Stancombe

Patent number: 7661766Abstract: A rim assembly comprises a rim including a peripheral rim portion for the mounting of a wheel; a wheel cover affixed to the rim and configured to rotate about an axis of the rim; and an oscillator attached to the wheel cover and configured to move back and forth between a first position and a second position based on rotation of the wheel cover about the axis. The oscillator is configured to protract axially away from the wheel cover when moving from the second position toward the first position and to retract axially toward the wheel cover when moving from the first position toward the second position.Type: GrantFiled: August 14, 2006Date of Patent: February 16, 2010Inventors: Jon R. Davis, Ian D. Kovacevich, Chris Hoy, Daniel Lee Bizzell, Tom Philpott, Andrew Peeler, Andrew Donati

Patent number: 7637855Abstract: An exercise apparatus includes a platform for use in exercises in an unstable configuration. The platform includes a stepping deck for receiving a user; an arched base for rocking support of the stepping deck on a workout surface; and a resistance band assembly housed within the platform, with the resistance band assembly including a plurality of resistance bands. The exercise apparatus may include a frame that is adapted to removably receive and support the platform above a workout surface in a stable configuration for use in exercises. In another exercise apparatus, the platform is secured to the frame such that, in a first orientation, the platform is stable; and in a second, inverted orientation, the platform is unstable. The platform is plank-shaped, and the stepping deck includes two stepping surfaces, each surface being located on an opposite side of the stepping deck.Type: GrantFiled: May 25, 2008Date of Patent: December 29, 2009Assignee: Edison Nation, LLCInventors: Daniel Lee Bizzell, Christopher Hoy, Jerry Shew, Amy Fessler Cotta, James Cotta, Ryan S.
