  • Publication number: 20230390497
Abstract: Medication delivery devices are provided having a housing comprising a reservoir sized sufficiently to hold medication, a dose button being rotatable relative to the housing to select a dose size of the medication for an injection, a printed circuit board, a conductive trace, and a microcontroller. In some embodiments, a bias source can be in electrical communication with the conductive trace, and the microcontroller can be in electrical communication with the conductive trace through a logic input. In some embodiments, an analog-to-digital converter can be in electrical communication with the conductive trace, the microcontroller, and a bias source. The microcontroller is configured to receive a signal from the ADC or the logic input, and determine, based on the received signal, that moisture may be present on the printed circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20230355882
Abstract: Medication delivery devices are provided having a sensor in the form of a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switch, a conversion control module that receives signals from the SPDT switch and generates an outputs a signal, and related power control circuitry. The SPDT switch may interact with a rotating component having a plurality of teeth that slide against the arm during dose delivery. Contact of an arm of the SPDT switch to a peak of a tooth places the SPDT switch in a set state, while lack of contact between the arm and the peak of the tooth places the SPDT switch in a reset state. The SPDT switch and SR logic switch may be used to sense dosage of medication delivered during dose delivery. The power control circuitry can include a sleep state the reduces battery drain during non-use, and a wakeup state that senses the administered dose.

  • Publication number: 20120025929
Abstract: The present invention concerns a bandstop filter for preventing signals of frequencies used for inter-device communications in a television signal distribution system from interfering with a signal source. The filter is designed to work with a signal splitter and reduce the negative impact on inter-device communication through the splitter caused by conventional bandstop filters. The filter adds a section to a bandstop filter to provide a resistive load and high output impedance at the port feeding the splitter largely through the action of a parallel resonant circuit.

  • Patent number: 7970341
Abstract: A method of processing an LNB power supply output signal comprising providing an LNB selection signal to select a first of the plurality of LNB signals as the input signal, superimposing a tone onto the LNB selection signal to select a second of the plurality of LNB signals as the input signal, providing a first transponder selection voltage to select a first set of transponders within the input signal, providing a second transponder selection voltage to select a second set of transponders within the input signal, and activating an adaptive load to preserve the tone if the second of the plurality of LNB signals is selected.

  • Publication number: 20080134279
Abstract: An architecture and protocol enables signal communications between a frequency translation module and a plurality of decoders within a dwelling. According to an exemplary embodiment, the frequency translation module includes a plurality of inputs operative to receive a plurality of bands of television signals. A plurality of tuners is connected to the inputs. The tuners convert the bands of television signals to a plurality of intermediate frequencies. A controller is operative to receive request commands for the bands of television signals from the decoders. Each of the decoders transmits one of the request commands to the frequency translation module during a separate time slot.

  • Patent number: 6996389
Abstract: A power supply for a satellite receiver system includes a dual input supply voltage arrangement. When a higher output voltage is selected, a source of a lower supply input voltage is coupled to an input main current conducting terminal of a series pass transistor. On the other hand, when a lower output voltage is selected, a source of a lower supply input voltage is coupled to the input main current conducting terminal of the series pass transistor. A comparator senses a magnitude of an output voltage produced by the series pass transistor. When, as a result of an over current condition, the output voltage is lower than a reference threshold level, any selection of the higher output voltage is automatically overridden and the source of the lower supply input voltage, instead, is coupled to the input main current conducting terminal of the series pass transistor.
