Abstract: In one aspect, a cable hub includes a housing having a base and a wall. The base has an interior surface and an exterior surface. A plurality of cable ports is disposed in the wall. A mounting magnet is affixed to the interior surface of the base. The mounting magnet has a sufficient pull strength for magnetically mounting the cable hub to a ferromagnetic surface upon placement of the exterior surface of the base against the ferromagnetic surface. The cable hub may be a Universal Serial Bus (USB) hub. In another aspect, a kit includes the cable hub and at least one ferromagnetic plate. The ferromagnetic plate may be affixable to a surface using an adhesive material.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for pairing devices to establish device groups. The method includes receiving, at a server associated with a plurality of client devices and a plurality of accessory devices, a first request to establish a device group comprising a first client device of the plurality of client devices and a first accessory device of the plurality of accessory devices. The first request identifies the first client device and the first accessory device. The method also includes establishing the device group comprising the first client device and the first accessory device. The device group, once established, allows the first client device to utilize the first accessory device.

Abstract: A universal mobile computing device mount comprises a body, a clamp arm, and an insertable electrical connector. The clamp arm is extendible from, and resiliently biased towards, the body, and is configured to engage an edge surface of a mobile computing device. The insertable electrical connector is pivotably mounted in the clamp arm. The electrical connector is pivotable relative to the clamp arm to promote angular alignment of the electrical connector with a complementary electrical receptacle in the edge surface of the mobile computing device during mounting of the mobile computing device into the universal mobile computing device mount.

Abstract: The invention generally relates to a method of making a plastic aggregate, and its use to make concrete products. The aggregate is formed by providing a granulated waste plastic material, introducing the granulated waste plastic material into an extruder having a die, the die having a ratio of die nozzle open area to die land area of about 1:10 to about 1:40, and extruding the granulated waste plastic material through the extruder to generate an extruded plastic aggregate. The method can include the presence of controlled cooling, the addition of additives and treatment of the surface of the aggregate to produce a desired aggregate that can be used to make a concrete product with desired properties, such as compressive strength and weight.

Abstract: A container for pourable foodstuffs has a base, a side wall connected to the base and surrounding a storage chamber. An elastic cuff is connected with a first end to the side wall and has a second end with an opening. The cuff width decreases from first to second end along a longitudinal container axis. The elastic cuff can be pushed into and pulled out of the storage chamber. A sealing element shaped as a stopper can be inserted into the opening for closing the container and has a shank portion matched in shape and size to the opening such that sealing abutment of a shank portion surface against surfaces of the elastic cuff adjoining the cuff opening is established in a contact region of the shank portion when the stopper is inserted. The shank portion has an end with a thickened portion thicker than the contact region.

The inner container is movable, counter to the energy accumulator force, transversely relative to a longitudinal axis of the outer container into a displacement position. The inner container has a discharge opening which, when the inner container moves away from the rest position, is moved across a sieve provided in the dispensing opening of the outer container floor.

The second ends of the lever arms opposite the joint have handgrip pieces. The first lever arm has a cup-shaped depression forming a strainer with support block and arranged between handgrip piece and joint. The second lever arm has a press element as an integrated molded component thereof. The press element is a cup-shaped depression projecting downward beyond the handgrip piece of the second lever arm. The press element, when the first and second lever arms are moved toward each other, is lowered toward the support block of the strainer and exerts pressure on a piece of fruit inserted into the pressing chamber between strainer and press element. A collection cup is releasably connected below the strainer to the first lever arm or the strainer.

Abstract: A plastic mixing bowl has a bowl body with a bottom side and an elastic annular seal that is provided with a peripheral region that in radial direction of the annular seal is positioned inwardly and is connected air-tightly to the bottom side of the bowl body. The annular seal has a lip extending from the peripheral region at least partially in radial direction outwardly. The lip is moveable into various positions and has a lower side forming a placing face by which the mixing bowl is supported on a setup surface. Annular seal and bottom side of the bowl body form together a suction cup that delimits a cavity varying in size depending on a position of the lip. The annular seal is repositionable from a position of use to a non-use position and in the non-use position bears flat against an exterior surface of the bowl body.
