  • Patent number: 11177764
Abstract: There is proposed an apparatus used for holding solar panels and a roof structure, including an elongate rail member, an elongate capping member movably connected to the elongate rail member, a plurality of interconnected adjustment devices, and a drive mechanism. The adjustment devices are spaced apart along a length of the elongate rail member and are configured to move the elongate capping member relative to the elongate rail member. The drive mechanism is configured to control the movement of the adjustment devices to affect the clamping of the solar array panels between the elongate capping member and the elongate rail member. The drive mechanism is adjustable from a single location along the elongate rail member, such as from an end.

  • Patent number: 10102079
Abstract: A single system merges primary data storage, data protection, and intelligence. Intelligence is provided through in-line data analytics, and data intelligence and analytics are gathered on protected data and prior analytics, and stored in discovery points, all without impacting performance of primary storage. As data is written it is automatically mirrored for data protection as part of a High Availability (HA) process. Real-time analysis is done in-line with the HA processing, enabling a variety of data analytics. Data content can be mined from within files or blocks. The gathered intelligence is used to tag objects with extended metadata, enabling both valuable search options and rapid restore options. Data recovery begins with metadata restoration, followed by near-instantaneous access to “hot” regions of data being restored, allowing site operation to continue or resume while a restore is ongoing.

  • Patent number: 8873668
Abstract: A circuit includes a first n-bit communications block and a second m-bit communications block. A controller is configured to control mode of operation for the first and second communications blocks. In a first mode, the first and second communications blocks function as a single communications block for n+m bit communications. In a second mode, the first and second communications blocks operate as substantially independent communications block for n bit communications and m bit communications.

  • Patent number: 8831160
Abstract: An apparatus includes a first clock source, a second clock source and circuitry configured to supply a clock signal to a circuit. The circuitry operates to change the clock signal from one frequency to another different frequency. This change is made in a manner whereby no clock signal is supplied during a period of time when the change from the one frequency to the another different clock frequency is being made.

  • Publication number: 20060034286
Abstract: A method for processing data packets in a network communication environment. In response to receiving an acknowledgment (ACK) of a previously sent burst of data packets, the amount of data acknowledged is compared to the amount of data in the burst that was originally sent. If the ACK covers at least a predetermined amount (or more) of the data in the original burst, then a burst size parameter is increased for future communications; however, if the ACK covers less than the predetermined amount of the original burst, then the burst size parameter remains the same.

  • Patent number: 6662664
Abstract: An electronic pressure sensing device includes a pressure sensing/transmitter module including at least one pressure sensor having a pair of opposed sensing elements, and a pair of inlet port on the module to supply fluid under pressure to the sensing elements. A plurality of adapters, each having a pair of outlet ports for connection to the inlet ports on the module, whereby each adapter can be selectively coupled to the module. Each adapter is capable of being connected to a different configuration of pressurized fluid supply to feed the associated supply to at least one of the inlet ports on the module. • Patent number: 5734608
Abstract: A circuit and method is provided for addressing memory cells in a memory device, including two series connected select gates having a node between them. A switching element is connected between the node and a ground voltage. A control signal is applied to a control input of the switching element to render it conductive while both of the select gates are non-conductive, so as to eliminate charge stored at a node between the two select gates. A particular application to an addressing circuit for use in a flash EPROM memory device is described.
