  • Publication number: 20180059289
Abstract: Disclosed are apparatus and methods for plasma processing on optical surfaces for anti-reflection (AR) treatments. The present disclosure enables efficient AR treatments and high performance of optical characters of materials having such AR coating. Narrow Gap Plasma Etching and Hollow Cathode Plasma Etching processes are disclosed according to some embodiment of the present invention. In some embodiments, the apparatus and methods are in combination of DC Bias Control to control physical (ion) bombardment and environment of the chamber (pressure and electric power) more closely, thus to control the processing more effectively.

  • Publication number: 20170140397
Abstract: Techniques are described for measuring and ranking the influence of users in a network such as a social network. Influence metric(s) may be calculated that indicate the influence of publishing user(s) in a network based on calculating a number of users who are exposed to published and republished item(s) at one or more levels, or ripples, as the item(s) propagate in the network through republication. Publishing users may be ranked according to their degree of influence in general, or their degree of influence with respect to one or more particular categories of subject matter for the published item(s). Categories may include hierarchically related categories, sub-categories, and so forth, of varying specificity.

  • Patent number: 8938062
Abstract: Service resource items for use in call setup in a telephone system are held on servers that are connected to a computer network which is logically distinct from the telephone system infrastructure; this computer network may, for example, make use of the Internet. Each service item is locatable on the network at a corresponding URI and is associated with a particular telephone number. A mapping is provided between telephone numbers and the URIs of associated service resource items. When it is desired to access a service resource item associated with a particular telephone number, this mapping is used to retrieve the corresponding URI which is then used to access the desired service resource item.

  • Publication number: 20140006082
Abstract: Disclosed is a conversation-based intelligent scheduling and appointment system and method. The system and method are designed to be capable of interpreting natural language, analyzing the natural language to reduce the language to data inputs, and displaying scheduling information such as appointment/event times, locations, and substantive information organized and presented in a format based on the data inputted by an operator. The display of the available appointment information is prioritized and dynamically displayed based on the natural language, regardless of the style or format of the natural language input in such a manner as to avoid superfluous information.

  • Publication number: 20120295251
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for the design and/or production of a probe or primer that is capable of hybridizing to a plurality of sites in a sample comprising nucleic acid. Furthermore, the present invention provides methods for detecting and amplifying nucleic acid using such a probe or primer, for example, for identification of a strain, species or genera. Probe or primer sequences are determined by reference to codon usage bias of a target nucleic acid. In addition, the present invention provides methods for determining codon distribution and/or base pair distance between codons in a nucleic acid.

  • Publication number: 20110213847
Abstract: An information service includes a network and material on the network provided by an entity. The network provides or is linked to, a request for information elements for submission of a request by the submitter to the entity. Elements are provided to optionally provide an inducement to likely submitters or selected subgroup or subgroups of likely submitters to submit a query. Communication between submitters and the entity may be by email, online forms, or instant messaging using typewritten or audio-visual communications.

  • Patent number: 7804816
Abstract: Service resource items (49) for use in call setup in a telephone system are held on servers (58) that are connected to a computer network which is logically distinct from the telephone system infrastructure; this computer network may, for example, make use of the Internet. Each service item (49) is locatable on the network at a corresponding URI and is associated with a particular telephone number. A mapping is provided between telephone numbers and the URIs of associated service resource items. • Patent number: 7781311
Abstract: System and method for filling vias in integrated circuits A preferred embodiment comprises forming a spacer layer on a substrate, forming a via with walls and a bottom in the spacer layer, depositing a conformal conductive layer on the spacer layer and on the walls and bottom of the via, spinning-on a photo-definable material on the conductive layer, forming a fill layer on the conductive layer and filling the via, exposing portions of the fill layer to an exposing light using a photomask, developing the fill layer to remove select portions of the fill layer and leave a portion of the fill layer filling the via, and removing the spacer layer. The use of a spin-on photo-definable material increases the material's filling and planarizing capabilities, while enabling a reduction in the number of process steps, which may reduce the likelihood of manufacturing defects, thereby increasing manufacturing yield.
