  • Publication number: 20170154343
Abstract: A counterfeit product detection and content management system includes: a physical identifier affixed to a product, the identifier including an organization identifier, product identifier, serial identifier, and parity check identifier; a mobile device including a physical identifier reader and a communications subsystem; and a server in communication with the mobile device and in communication with a database storing a plurality of product verification records, each product verification record including an organization identifier, product identifier, serial identifier, and parity check identifier; wherein, in response to the server receiving a communication of the physical identifier from the mobile device, the server determines whether the organization identifier, the product identifier, the serial identifier, and the parity check identifier match one of the stored product verification records in the database and, when the server determines there is no match, the server communicates to the mobile device tha

  • Publication number: 20160050194
Abstract: A system for messaging application governance including an application server computer configured to provide an application service, an administration module, and a communication module. The application service accesses data indicative of user-specific rules for a user account. The user-specific rules govern usage of a messaging application by a messaging user associated with the user account. The administration module is configured to provide an administration interface. The administration interface is configured to allow an administrator user associated with the user account to specify the user-specific rules for the user account. The communication module is configured to support messaging services between client instances of the messaging application. The communication module is communicatively coupled to the application service to provide the messaging services for the user account in accordance with the user-specific rules.

  • Patent number: 8751464
Abstract: A version control system integrated within a business intelligence environment includes a version control server configured for network communication with a business intelligence server and a client of a business intelligence network, and a version control repository in communication with the version control server and configured for storage of multiple versions of a definition of an object of the business intelligence environment developed via a browser interface of the client. The browser interface is created in accordance with a first textual instruction set and configured with a save operation to store a current version of the object definition in the metadata repository. The browser interface is configured by the version control server with a second textual instruction set called by the first textual instruction set such that implementation of the save operation stores the current version of the object definition in the version control repository.

  • Patent number: 8073863
Abstract: A metadata management system is described for a business intelligence architecture having a metadata repository for content that defines a user environment of the business intelligence architecture. The metadata management system includes a user interface generator to display information regarding a plurality of objects in the metadata repository and to facilitate selection of a group of the plurality of objects, a content editor to evaluate the content stored in the metadata repository for each object of the selected group and to modify in a batch job the content for each object of the selected group for storage of the modified content in the metadata repository, and a communication manager to issue instructions for the storage of the modified content in the metadata repository, the instructions being configured in accordance with a communication protocol of the business intelligence architecture utilized to control the metadata repository.
