  • Publication number: 20100203787
Abstract: The present invention relates to thermoset resin fibre components, composite materials comprising thermoset resin fibre components, composite articles manufactured using such composite materials and methodologies for manufacturing same. The thermoset resin fibre components may comprise a single fibre of thermoset resin or a plurality of fibres commingled together. There properties and characteristics of the thermoset resin used are chosen according to the material to be produced therefrom. The thermoset fibre components may be woven into reinforcement fibres to form prepregs. Thermoplastic fibres may be commingled and co-woven with the thermoset fibre components.

  • Publication number: 20100124933
Abstract: Methods and systems for providing a dynamic and real time load factor that can be shared with other network elements is disclosed. The load factor can be used in determining the relative load among a set of network elements and in distributing new sessions requests as well as existing session on the set of network elements. The load factor can also be used for determining to which network element a user equipment is handed off. The dynamic load factor can also be shared amongst network elements to determine how the load is balanced among the network elements, such as a mobility management entity (MME).

  • Publication number: 20100124223
Abstract: A method and system for selectively paging user equipment in a communication network is disclosed. The selective paging is implemented with a set of rules that determine whether a packet triggers a page request to user equipment. The rules can be dynamic and can discard unwanted packets to avoid waste of system resources, disruptions in service, and draining of a user equipment's battery life. The selective paging can be implemented on a serving gateway (SGW), a packet data network gateway (PGW), a mobility management entity, or a combination of the three. The selective paging can use information regarding the state of the user equipment and other rule-based criteria to determine whether packets received by a gateway trigger a page of the user equipment.

  • Publication number: 20070294232
Abstract: At least one exemplary embodiment discloses a system, computer program product and method for evaluating the value of a legal document such as a patent-related document. In accordance with at least one exemplary embodiment, a Latent Semantic Analysis (“LSA’) search engine can search a database of patent-related documents to identify an “N” number of patent-related documents deemed thereby as relevant to a target document and indices of the target patent-related document can be compared and scored against the indices of the relevant identified patent-related documents. At least one exemplary embodiment evaluates a plurality of indices of patent-related document value using legal, commercial and/or technological factors.

  • Publication number: 20070174296
Abstract: A system and method of distributing one or more of a software application, a database, and a document search and retrieval means across a network of two or more servers. Individually, or collectively, one or more servers are accessible by a client computer that has permission to access the network. In an exemplary configuration, the present invention is comprised of an application service distributed between one or more host servers on the Internet and one or more appliance servers and clients located behind a network security access point, with one or more authorized clients and the appliance in communication across the network security network access point with one or more ASP host servers on the network.

  • Publication number: 20070168345
Abstract: A method and system for searching a data collection to identify employee candidates using the text of job description as a semantic search query upon a database containing patent literature or non-patent literature. An exemplary embodiment discloses employee candidates for the described job in a relevancy-ranked order based on the proximity of the search results to the latent semantic analysis search query.

  • Publication number: 20070094712
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing an interface to communicate policy information from a policy server to a policy enforcement point are presented. An external policy server is used to implement and provide various policies to a policy enforcement point for enforcement on subscriber sessions and traffic flows of a mobile subscriber. A policy enforcement point can request instructions from the policy server using an access-request message and receive from the policy server unsolicited instructions with a change-of-authorization message. Policies for application to a subscriber session or traffic flow are included in the message from a policy server to the policy enforcement point. Other messages such as a disconnect message are used to terminate a subscriber session.

  • Patent number: 6923006
Abstract: Water supplied from a bottle 1 is pre-chilled in a reservoir 3. A two-part water pump 11 transfers water under pressure through a jet nozzle 14 into an oxygen space 17 in a PET pressure vessel 12, which entrains oxygen into the water. The pressure vessel is received in a conductive holder 18 and is cooled by a peltier element 19 provided with cooling fins 20. The holder 18 forms a capacitive level sensor with a probe 32 inside the vessel, which starts the pump 11 when oxygenated water is drawn off via a draw tube 28 and discharge valve 31. When the water level in the oxygenating vessel is restored a solenoid valve 25 opens to restore the oxygen pressure in the vessel. For hygiene purposes the pumping body can be removed from the pump motor and replaced together with the reservoir 3 and oxygenating vessel 12 along with the associated tubing.

  • Patent number: 5439145
Abstract: A water dispenser which dispenses liquid from an inverted bottle includes a housing 31 provided with a mounting arrangement for the bottle. A feed tube incorporated in a removably mounted manifold body is positioned to project into the neck of the bottle to conduct water to a reservoir from which water is discharged through a valve 80. The valve includes a pinch bar 106 acting on a flexible plastics or rubber tube 96 which can easily be replaced. The outlet end of the tube is recessed behind the housing 31 to prevent accidental hand contact. Liquid discharged from the bottle is replaced by air which passes through a one-way float valve mounted on the manifold body for removal therewith, and the float valve incorporates an air filter.

  • Patent number: 5361942
Abstract: Apparatus for dispensing liquid from an inverted bottle having a neck through which the liquid is discharged, is provided with a mount 32 having a feed tube 34 to project into the neck of the bottle. The feed tube forms part of a reservoir 152 which incorporates a drainage channel 153 to sealably receive the neck of the bottle with closure of drain valve 144. Water travels from the feed tube 34 to a cold reservoir 160 comprising a flexible bag 163 received within a fixed rigid outer 162. Cooled water leaves the bag 163 to a discharge valve 168. The feed tube 34 may also supply a hot water reservoir (FIG. 3 ) which is also replaceable. To maintain strict hygiene, the manifold 152 and both reservoirs are completely replaced at intervals together with the interconnecting pipework.
