  • Publication number: 20240046451
Abstract: A method includes: receiving a recycled wood workpiece populated with a set of metal fasteners; accessing an internal imaging scan; detecting the set of metal fasteners embedded in the recycled wood workpiece based on internal features detected in the internal imaging scan; for each metal fastener in the set of metal fasteners, extracting an initial position and an initial orientation of the metal fastener from the internal imaging scan; generating a virtual model of the recycled wood workpiece based on the internal imaging scan; accessing an image captured by an optical sensor; detecting a first metal fastener in the recycled wood workpiece; deriving a first position and a first orientation of the first metal fastener; and, in response to identifying the first metal fastener analogous to an initial metal fastener in the virtual model, isolating the first metal fastener in the virtual model and generating a fastener removal schedule.

  • Publication number: 20220349804
Abstract: A device collects material from air. The device swirls air within a fluid housing so as to deposit the material, such as viruses, bacteria, fungi and other particles, from the air in a way that the material can later be analyzed. The device can be used to provide for detection of airborne organisms or properties of material in the air.

  • Patent number: 11317059
Abstract: A method and system for managing communications between a veterinarian (vet) and a pet owner including video communications may integrate pet medical records access along with allowing a vet to view as well as annotate pet medical records during a video consultation with the pet owner. Either the vet or the pet owner may set up a video conference between each other. The method and system may establish a video conference in which a vet may access the video conference with a desktop computer while the pet owner accesses the video conference a portable computing device (PCD). A video conference may be established by the pet owner, usually, after payment information from a financial card is supplied to the system. The method and system provides a chat functionality, which can be initiated by the pet owner or the vet, and allows both parties to send/receive messages and/or images.
