  • Patent number: 12244131
Abstract: The process and apparatus for tension stringing a conductor through above-ground supports uses a length of rope affixed to the conductor wound on the tensioning machine and pulled by the puller machine. Each of the first and second stringing apparatuses includes an onboard control system which controls each of the first and second stringing apparatuses in pulling mode or in tensioning mode. Each of the first and second stringing apparatuses includes a motor/regenerative brake or other means of inducing tension into the conductor. Each of the machines includes a wireless transceiver which is hard-wired to said onboard control systems. A first operator resides on the puller machine and selects the machine as a puller machine operating in pulling mode using an onboard control system. An observer resides on the tensioner and selects the second machine to be the tensioner.

  • Publication number: 20250063239
Abstract: Example systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media are directed to an AI-assisted interview system that provides real-time analysis and suggestions during video and audio interviews. The system can analyze questions, response text, audio, and video in real-time and suggest follow-up topics and questions. Suggested topics and questions can optimize for breadth by sampling under-sampled semantic regions and/or depth by identifying related questions. The system can provide clarification suggestions for ambiguous responses and measure quality metrics for questions and answers.

  • Patent number: 8306857
Abstract: A system for selecting and delivering content items includes a primary system and a secondary system. Each system includes a server and a datastore of content items that is accessible by the server. The primary system receives a request for a content item, selects an appropriate content item from the primary datastore, and sends a query containing information regarding the selected content item to the secondary system. The secondary system receives the query, searches the secondary datastore, and determines whether to deliver the content item contained in the query, another content item, a default content item, or a pass-back to the requester.

  • Patent number: 7099706
Abstract: The hands-free car kit allows a mobile handset to enter and exit privacy mode without the user having to press a privacy button. The simple act of picking up the mobile handset out of its cradle switches the hands-free car kit from hands-free mode to privacy mode. When the mobile handset is installed in the cradle the hands-free car kit enters hands-free mode. If the mobile handset is removed from the cradle the hands-free car kit enters privacy mode.
