  • Patent number: 11921103
Abstract: A sequence of polymer units in a polymer (3), eg. DNA, is estimated from at least one series of measurements related to the polymer, eg. ion current as a function of translocation through a nanopore (1), wherein the value of each measurement is dependent on a k-mer being a group of k polymer units (4). A probabilistic model, especially a hidden Markov model (HMM), is provided, comprising, for a set of possible k-mers: transition weightings representing the chances of transitions from origin k-mers to destination k-mers; and emission weightings in respect of each k-mer that represent the chances of observing given values of measurements for that k-mer. The series of measurements is analysed using an analytical technique, eg. Viterbi decoding, that refers to the model and estimates at least one estimated sequence of polymer units in the polymer based on the likelihood predicted by the model of the series of measurements being produced by sequences of polymer units.

  • Patent number: 11223693
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for aggregating channel agnostic data. In use, channel agnostic data is received, at a messaging bus, from a plurality of telecommunication system sources, wherein the plurality of telecommunication system sources is channel agnostic. Next, using a micro service, the channel agnostic data is aggregated from the plurality of telecommunication system sources and the aggregated channel agnostic data is presented, on demand, based on at least one of authority, needs, and preferences. Further, at least one action is associated with the aggregated channel agnostic data.

  • Patent number: 11019004
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for performing bot engine abstraction. In use, a message is received at a bot engine from a messaging channel, utilizing a first abstraction layer. Additionally, one or more external components are accessed by the bot engine, utilizing a second abstraction layer, to create a response to the message. Further, the response is sent from the bot engine to the messaging channel, utilizing the first abstraction layer.

  • Patent number: 11016557
Abstract: A method for creating an augmented reality experience. The method includes receiving a value to associate with a stored value token, searching a database for one of products and services that are sold close to the value, matching at least one of a product and a service which is sold close to the value, and creating a record comprising a token identifier and a graphical item representing one of the product and service that is found during matching, receiving a request to initiate the augmented reality experience. The method further includes, in response to the request, preparing data comprising augmented reality information including a video file and the record. The method further includes sending the data over a computer network.

  • Patent number: 8645220
Abstract: A method and system for creating an augmented reality experience in connection with a stored value token comprises augmented reality software which can be loaded on a general purpose computer. This augmented reality software can be downloaded from an external source, such as the Internet. The augmented reality software may monitor camera signals in order to detect a marker on a stored value token. The augmented reality software tracks the position of this marker relative to camera. The augmented reality software can produce an object which is projected on the image captured by the camera and adjacent to the image of the marker. The projected object can have three dimensions as it is projected on a two dimensional display. In response to certain conditions, the projected object may later be changed so that it contains a graphical item related to the value associated with the stored value token.

  • Patent number: 8493600
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a layered printer driver model in which, at the “bottom layer,” a rendering component provides rendering functionality to format information constituting a print job initiated according to a page description language that a printer device is designed to process, and one or more other components that provide configuration and/or user experience functionality may “sit atop” the bottom layer. Any or all of these higher-level components may support not just a single printer device, but a class of printer devices defined by one or more shared characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20120022924
Abstract: A method and system for creating an augmented reality experience with video in connection with a stored value token comprises augmented reality software which can be loaded on a general purpose computer. The augmented reality software may monitor camera signals in order to detect a marker on a stored value token. The augmented reality software tracks the position of this marker relative to camera. The augmented reality software can display video that is projected on the image captured by the camera and adjacent to the image of the marker. The software may also display an object that is projected on the image after the video is displayed. The projected object can have three dimensions as it is projected on a two-dimensional display. In another exemplary embodiment, an electronic-token can be created and which is associated with customized video and without any augmented reality components.

  • Patent number: 7847687
Abstract: Real-time, geo-targeted and context-sensitive alerts are provided based on a stated objective. Factual information is collected over time. When a user needs the information, the user registers an objective and a geographic location. The factual information is scored for relevance, based on how closely the information fits the user's geographic location, and how relevant the information is to the user's stated objective. The most relevant information, as determined based on score, is pushed to the user in real-time.
