A search input by a first user is detected and an indication of a hierarchal rank for the first user is stored. Determining a weight to assign to a search result includes comparing a hierarchal rank of at least one group member that corresponds to the first content item with the hierarchal rank of the first user.

Abstract: An acoustic system is disclosed. The acoustic system includes a sound absorptive substrate, and a rigid polyester shell configured to be positioned over the sound absorptive substrate. The rigid polyester shell is configured to be mounted on an interior surface of a building such that at least some sound waves pass through the rigid polyester shell. The shell is configured to provide aesthetic features to the acoustic system.

Abstract: A modular surgical system is disclosed. The modular surgical system comprises a header module, a first surgical module, a second surgical module, and a module identification circuit. The second surgical module is arrangeable in a stack configuration with the header module and the first surgical module. The module identification circuit is configured to cause a pre-determined current to be transmitted to the first surgical module through the second surgical module in the stack configuration, detect a first voltage indicative of a first position of the first surgical module in the stack configuration, and detect a second voltage indicative of a second position of the second surgical module in the stack configuration. The second voltage is different than the first voltage.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are presented for systems and methods for identifying characteristics of a return pad in a monopolar electrosurgical system using contact quality monitoring (CQM) and near field communication (NFC) signals. In some aspects, resistance or impedance materials are sensed that may help identify what kind of return pad is being used, including what is the structure of the pad. In some aspects, NFC signals are used to identify characteristics of the return pad. In some aspects, the grounding or return pad may include two separate materials that form an interconnecting or interwoven mesh and both act as non-active electrodes when both contact the patient. A non-zero impedance may separate conductive lines connecting the two separate materials that may be analyzed to obtain a defining signature about that is linked to structural characteristics about the return pad.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a request to join an electronic chat room is received from a requester. A selection of an access control level for the requester is received via a user interface in order to grant the requester access to the electronic chat room according to a condition for granting access. The user interface is used to assign a selected access control level to the requester, thereupon granting access to the requester. The requester's access to content available in the electronic chat room being limited based on the selected access control level. Related methods, apparatus, and systems are also described.

Abstract: A communication system and related methods are described. The communication system includes a communication server computer and multiple user computers. The communication server computer maintains synchronization of multiple copies of a graphical user interface (“GUI”) presented by the multiple user computers. The GUI implements a multi-user, digital communication environment and includes a chat area where communications are organized by time and a document editing area where communications are organized by subject. The GUI enables integration of the chat area and the document editing area and allows users to communicate across multiple communication modalities seamlessly and in real time.

The meeting thread is provided for display on user devices associated at least with the first participant and the second participant.

A boundary surface between the source and a liquid to be treated is provided with one or more cleaning elements arranged longitudinally on the boundary surface. The cleaning elements and the boundary surface are arranged to be rotationally moveable relative to one another around the longitudinal axis of the source.
