  • Patent number: 11895439
Abstract: A method for automatically authenticating unknown video data based on known video data stored at a client server is provided, wherein, unknown and known video data each are made up of segments and include metadata, a hash message digest, and a serial code. The method involves selecting a first segment of the unknown video and locating the serial code within the first segment of the unknown video data. The serial code is used to locate a corresponding first segment in the known video data. The first segment may include a known hash message digest. A new hash message digest for the first segment of the unknown video data is generated and compared with the known hash message digest. If they match, the segment of unknown video data is authentic.

  • Patent number: 11823539
Abstract: A video data collection and sharing platform is provided capable of detecting high-priority events and communicating alerts to users. A high-priority event is captured by a video capturing device with one or more sensor modules, including one or more video cameras for recording video footage. A network connection is established and input from one or more sensor modules is received. The input includes image data from the one or more video cameras. An input from the one or more sensor modules is analyzed to determine a potential high-priority event. Upon determining a potential high-priority event, conditions of the network connection are measured and an amount of data to be transmitted to a remote server through the network connection is determined based, at least in part, on the measured conditions of the network connection. The determined amount of data is then transmitted to the remote server. The transmitted data includes at least part of the image data from the one or more video cameras.

  • Publication number: 20230256146
Abstract: A system, methods, and apparatus having a circular buffer for the reply of renal therapy machine alarms and events are disclosed. An example renal therapy apparatus includes a therapy operations processor configured to generate alarms, events, and high fidelity medical device data. The renal therapy apparatus also includes a memory device having a circular buffer configured to store a duration of medical device data. The renal therapy apparatus further includes a control processor configured to receive a stream of medical device data from the therapy operations processor, and write the stream to the circular buffer such that a most recent duration of the stream is stored. The control processor is also configured to detect an occurrence of an alarm or event, and create a reply record that includes an identifier of the alarm or event and the medical device data that is stored in the circular buffer.

  • Publication number: 20230214466
Abstract: This invention is directed to an electronic device with an embedded authentication system for restricting access to device resources. The authentication system may include one or more sensors operative to detect biometric information of a user. The sensors may be positioned in the device such that the sensors may detect appropriate biometric information as the user operates the device, without requiring the user to perform a step for providing the biometric information (e.g., embedding a fingerprint sensor in an input mechanism instead of providing a fingerprint sensor in a separate part of the device housing). In some embodiments, the authentication system may be operative to detect a visual or temporal pattern of inputs to authenticate a user. In response to authenticating, a user may access restricted files, applications (e.g., applications purchased by the user), or settings (e.g., application settings such as contacts or saved game profile).

  • Patent number: 11507285
Abstract: Disclosed is a controller for a disaggregated memory device. The controller may receive a request to allocate memory of a specific size from the disaggregated memory device to a computing device, and may generate a memory block device in the specific size from a memory pool formed from physical memory modules configured on the disaggregated memory device. The controller may expose the memory block device to the computing device as a Non-Volatile Memory Express (“NVMe”) target device, and may control access to the memory block device by converting NVMe access requests in a first format from the computing device to access requests in a different second format supported by the memory block device.

  • Patent number: 11455247
Abstract: Disclosed is a controller for providing applications seamless access to local and remote memory so that data of a particular application that is moved out of the Random Access Memory (“RAM”) of a local device may be stored and accessed in RAM of a remote device rather than on higher latency and slower performing storage mediums. The controller provides an application with a first allocation of RAM from the local device running the application, and a second allocation of RAM from the remote device. The controller registers to receive a page fault notification for a particular page that the application attempts to access and that is not stored in the first allocation of RAM. The controller retrieves the particular page from the second allocation of RAM, and loads it into the first allocation of RAM where it becomes accessible by the application.

  • Publication number: 20220237996

  • Patent number: 11343677
Abstract: To allow secure communications between a video capturing device and mobile devices, an association process includes providing a unique pattern, such as a QR code, to the mobile device in proximity to the video capturing device. The unique pattern is used by the mobile device to request pairing with the client device, either directly or via a cloud-based system. The QR code includes an identifier or “shared secret” that allows the client device to verify the pairing request originates from the mobile device in close proximity. The association process may also involve cryptographic keys to further secure communications and may also involve a process to retrieve a mobile app without additional user intervention. Once the devices are associated, they can communicate directly using wireless communications, such as cellular or WiFi, and transfer video data and other data automatically.

  • Patent number: 11303967
Abstract: An exemplary method and system is provided for wirelessly accessing video data files stored in the buffer of a client device for playback and scrubbing. When the client device detects a known or trusted mobile device in proximity, it enters a hotspot mode. The hotspot network parameters are provided to the mobile device. In one embodiment, the network parameters include a network ID and password. Using the network parameters, the mobile device joins the hotspot provided by the client device. Once wirelessly networked, the mobile device can request video data from the client device. The client device generates hierarchical playlists and provides them to the mobile device. The mobile device uses the playlists to access video files stored in the buffer of the client device continuously and without interruption. The video files or objects can be listed in a playlist as advertisements to allow continuous playback.
