Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed to control power consumption within a processor. An example processor disclosed herein comprises an instruction retirement unit; a first set of functional blocks to process a first set of instructions having a first instruction type; a second set of functional blocks to process a second set of instructions having a second instruction type; and a controller to enable the first set of functional blocks to process an instruction allocated to the instruction retirement unit if the type of the instruction is the first type, and to disable the first set of functional blocks after the instruction is retired by the instruction retirement unit.

Abstract: A push/pull exercising apparatus includes a frame support comprised of a long Tee bar and a short T bar, a mounting support, a handle bar, a pull bar, a seat stay, a support bar, a front pedal mount and a rear pedal mount. The mounting support is pivotally connected to an extreme end of the long Tee bar. The end of the seat stay is pivotally disposed at the long Tee bar in front of a middle section thereof. The pull bar is pivotally disposed between the mounting support and the seat stay. The pedal mounts are respectively disposed at a front end of the seat stay and a bottom end of said mounting support. The handle bar is mounted on the mounting support and is provided with a pair of hand grips capable of being turned in different directions so that the user may push or pull the hand grips to perform push/pull exercises.

Abstract: A rocking exerciser having a pair of support feet, a rocking rod, a seat pad and a parallel linkage is provided. The rocking rod is provided with a handlebar and a back pad movably disposed thereon. One side of the seat pad is provided with a waist pad. The front portion is provided with a foot rest rod. When the rocking rod is driven forward or backward, a corresponding upward biasing movement to the seat is generated by the pertinent linking rods of the parallel linkage. Accordingly, bowing and stretching movements can be readily performed.

Abstract: A joint assembly adjusts the height of a bicycle saddle and includes an elongated seat tube member, a joint member made of a carbon-fiber composite material, a seat post, and a hoop member. The joint member has an upper connecting portion, a lower connecting portion, and a longitudinal receiving chamber formed through the joint member from the upper connecting portion to the lower connecting portion. The upper connecting portion has a plurality of open-ended slots formed therethrough. Each adjacent pair of the open-ended slots define a flexible plate therebetween. The seat tube member is inserted fittingly into the receiving chamber and has a plurality of open-ended slots aligned with the open-ended slots of the joint member, and a shoulder portion which abuts against the bottom surface of the lower connecting portion of the joint member. The seat post extends downward from the bicycle saddle to engage movably the seat tube member.
