  • Publication number: 20220122335
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatus, and computer-readable media (transitory or non-transitory) are described herein for scaling and rendering a virtual hand. According to an example, vision data may be received from a three-dimensional (ā€œ3Dā€) vision sensor. The vision data may capture at least a portion of a user in an environment, and may include data representing the user's hand relative to a touch interaction surface. The vision data may be processed to generate a 3D representation of the user's hand. A scaling center may be identified on the touch interaction surface to scale the 3D representation of the user's hand. The 3D representation of the user's hand may be scaled with respect to the identified scaling center using a scaling factor. The scaling factor may be based on a rendering constraint. A virtual hand may be rendered, e.g., on a display, based on the scaled 3D representation of the user's hand.

  • Patent number: 11205405
Abstract: In example implementations, a method is provided. The method may be executed by a processor. The method includes receiving a reflected image of a mirrored display. At least one optimal display region is identified in the mirrored display around a main subject in the reflected image based on additional reflected subjects in the reflected image. A content is analyzed to determine an arrangement of the content in the at least one optimal display region. The content that is displayed is arranged in the at least one optimal display region.

  • Patent number: 11182973
Abstract: In an example, an augmented reality display system includes a reflective surface, a depth scanner and processing apparatus comprising an image processor and an image generation engine. The depth scanner may be to scan the reflective surface and a subject via the reflective surface to acquire depth data. The image processor may be to determine, based on the depth data, a viewpoint for an augmentation of a reflected image. The image generation engine may be to generate the augmentation for display on the reflective surface.

  • Publication number: 20210357484
Abstract: Example implementations relate to authentication invirtual reality systems. For example, a device comprising a generator engine can generate a stimulus, and display the stimulus to the user in a virtual environment. The device can receive an input from the user in response to the stimulus, via a receiver engine, and authenticate the user based on the input received via an authentication engine. Additionally, the device can obfuscate the received input from the user by preventing the input from being displayed in the virtual environment via an obfuscation engine.
