Abstract: A golf club having a bent hosel. The hosel is approximately five inches long and the bend is approximately centered on the hosel. The hosel is connected to the golf club base to angle toward the golfer. At its middle, or approximately two and one half inches above the golf club base, the hosel is bent away from the golfer to a nearly vertical angle. The shaft of the golf club is connected to the upper portion of the bent hosel causing the shaft to continue at the nearly vertical angle. The novel angling of the hosel and shaft allow an average golfer to consistently hit straighter shots beginning with a putter, but including golf irons and golf woods.

The stop reaches across the glove palm and angles towards the small finger and has a wall extending perpendicular to the wearer's palm for the handle to abut against. The resilient pad fills a concave portion of the palm to provide a substantially flat surface for the golf club handle to seat against.

The sliding grip portion is about four inches long and may slide over a standard grip, or over a guide, and is preferably used with putters, but may be used with other golf clubs. The offset upper portion comprises an eleven inch upper grip offset at about nine degrees from the shaft centerline and clocked about 110 degrees counter-clockwise from that face of the head. The lower portion of the grip is retained as in known clubs.

Abstract: An exercising device having a bat which applies a restraint to the swinging thereof. This may be accomplished with an extendable line held therein or a moveable weight within the bat. The line is tied to a stationary object and as the bat is swung, a spring within the bat increases the resistance on the line. As the bat reaches the area at which it would normally contact the ball, the line is preferably restrained from further extension.

Abstract: A tennis racket grip which is modified so as to enable a tennis player to hold the racket in such a way that it is automatically positioned at a good hitting angle and is kept at a good angle throughout the stroke. The grip also enables the player to obtain top spin and reverse spin on the ball for both forehand and backhand strokes.
