  • Publication number: 20240112916
Abstract: Techniques are provided herein to form semiconductor devices that include a gate cut formed after the formation of source/drain contacts. In an example, a semiconductor device includes a gate structure around or otherwise on a semiconductor region that extends from a source region to a drain region. Conductive contacts formed over the source and drain regions along a source/drain trench. The gate structure may be interrupted with a dielectric gate cut that further extends past the gate trench and into the source/drain trench where it can cut into one or more of the contacts. The contacts are formed before the gate cut to ensure complete fill of conductive material when forming the contacts. Accordingly, a liner structure on the conductive contacts is also broken by the intrusion of the gate cut and does not extend further up or down the sidewalls of the gate cut.

  • Publication number: 20240105452
Abstract: Techniques are provided to form semiconductor devices that include one or more gate cuts having a layer of polymer material at edges of the gate cut. The polymer layer may be provided as a byproduct of the etching process used to form the gate cut recess through the gate structure, and can protect any exposed portions of the source or drain regions from certain subsequent processes. The gate structure may be interrupted between two transistors with a gate cut that extends through an entire thickness of the gate structure and includes a dielectric material to electrically isolate the portions of the gate structure on either side of the gate cut. The edges of the gate cut may be lined with a polymer layer that is also on any exposed portions of the source or drain regions that were exposed during the etching process used to form the gate cut recess.

  • Publication number: 20240105063
Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and computer program product for managing flight leg data for flight legs flown by a plurality of aircraft. A computer system receives the flight leg data for the flight legs flown by the plurality of aircraft in real-time. The computer system associates aircraft operation data and airport data with the flight leg data such that the aircraft operation data and airport data associated with the flight leg data forms flight activity data for the flight legs. The computer system displays a selected view of the flight activity data in real-time in a graphical user interface on a display system in response to a query for the flight activity data using the selected view.

  • Publication number: 20240071593
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that provide smart alerts to users, e.g., alerts to users about diabetic states that are only provided when it makes sense to do so, e.g., when the system can predict or estimate that the user is not already cognitively aware of their current condition, e.g., particularly where the current condition is a diabetic state warranting attention. In this way, the alert or alarm is personalized and made particularly effective for that user. Such systems and methods still alert the user when action is necessary, e.g., a bolus or temporary basal rate change, or provide a response to a missed bolus or a need for correction, but do not alert when action is unnecessary, e.g., if the user is already estimated or predicted to be cognitively aware of the diabetic state warranting attention, or if corrective action was already taken.

  • Patent number: 7003483
Abstract: A system and method for calculating a number of units of a security or other investment instrument to be traded periodically in a fluctuating market in a manner that optimizes the per-unit dollar value of the corresponding transaction. The system and method each comprise equations for calculating the number of units to be purchased or sold during each of a plurality of transaction periods based upon (1) a target amount of money for purchasing, or to be received from the sale of, the security during each transaction period, (2) a non-zero baseline unit price and (3) a current per unit price during the corresponding transaction period. In one embodiment, each equation further includes a gain control that, when all other variables are fixed, allows an investor to adjust the number of units traded to suit his or investment goals and/or to suit market conditions.
