  • Publication number: 20240131277
Abstract: A medical device includes a handle having a first end and a second end, a mixer positioned within the handle and an adapter coupled to the second end of the handle. A delivery needle includes a distal end, a proximal end, and a lumen extending from the distal end to the proximal end. The proximal end of the delivery needle is coupled to the first end of the handle. A sensor cable includes a distal end and a proximal end, and the proximal end of the sensor cable is positioned within the handle, and the distal end extends distally through the lumen of the delivery needle.

  • Publication number: 20240097064
Abstract: A light controlled semiconductor switch (LCSS), method of making, and method of using are provided. In embodiments, a vertical LCSS includes: a semiconductor body including a photoactive layer of gallium nitride (GaN) doped with carbon; a first electrode in contact with a first surface of the semiconductor body, the first electrode defining an area through which light energy from at least one light source can impinge on the first surface; and a second electrode in contact with a second surface of the semiconductor body opposed to the first surface, wherein the vertical LCSS is configured to switch from a non-conductive off-state to a conductive on-state when the light energy impinging on the semiconductor body is sufficient to raise electrons within the photoactive layer into a conduction band of the photoactive layer.

  • Patent number: 11919343
Abstract: A breakaway mitigation system is provided for addressing breakaway between a tractor and a trailer unit of a truck. The breakaway mitigation system can include a spool assembly, a sensor, and a controller. The spool assembly has a spool body configured to deploy a length of a tether coupled with the spool body and configured to couple with an energy source supply conduit and to retract the length of the tether. The energy source supply conduit is configured to convey a source of energy for use by a motor or by a fuel cell. The sensor is configured to detect the length of the tether that has been deployed. The controller is configured to receive an input corresponding to the detected length and to implement a countermeasure when the detected amount exceeds a threshold value. Mitigation can be provided by a coupler that decouples under a load over a threshold.

  • Publication number: 20240071022
Abstract: A system includes a medical device and computer-readable media storing instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause operations to be performed, including: receiving a three-dimensional (3D) image of anatomy, processing the 3D image to extract a 3D model identifying anatomical structures of interest, receiving images captured by an imaging device of the medical device as the medical device is navigated through a body lumen to a target site, including a current image of the target site, receiving medical device spatial information from a position sensing system including a transmitter/receiver in or on the medical device, processing the images and spatial information to generate a 3D surface map of the body lumen, registering the 3D model to the patient using the map and spatial information, and generating and displaying a graphical user interface overlaying a representation of a position/trajectory of the anatomical structures of interest on the current image.

  • Patent number: 10688938
Abstract: A hitch-mounted cargo carrier designed to remove provide transport of cargo outside a vehicle. The hitch-mounted cargo carrier has a container designed to store cargo, having a base with a perimeter and a plurality of sidewalls extending therefrom. One or more lid members are attached to an upper edge of a sidewall and designed to enclose the container, such that each lid member has an upper surface designed to support cargo thereon, in addition to one or more extendable legs affixed thereon. A frame is disposed around the container and designed to support the container using a support rod. The support rod has a first section and a second section connected by an intermediate bar, wherein one end of the first section is designed to removably secure to a trailer hitch. In this way, a user is able to easily transport cargo without encumbering the space within their vehicle.
