Abstract: The innovation disclosed and claimed herein, in one aspect thereof, comprises a management system and method of handling unpatched users. When a user requests to access their user account or a network, the user is checked for type of browser the user is being used and which version of the browser is being used. If the user is using an unsecured or unpatched browser, the system offers to update the browser software or provide a virtual machine through the browser so that malware cannot transfer from the user computer to the network. The virtual machine can provide a virtual keyboard to protect the user's login credentials from a key logger. The user logs into the user account within the virtual machine.

Abstract: A method may include receiving, from a customer device, contextual location information about a customer and an interaction type, determining a location-based recommendation and an urgency level for the customer using the contextual location information, generating a routing protocol for communication with the customer based on the interaction type and the urgency level, and providing a communication to the customer according to the routing protocol, the communication including the location-based recommendation.

Abstract: Systems and methods for preparing customer check deposit requests with a mobile device and a reflective surface are described. A check frame is positioned between a customer mobile device with a built-in camera and a mirror such that, when a check is placed in the check frame, the camera can view both sides of the check simultaneously. The camera can take a single picture that includes both sides of the check, process it, and submit it as a check deposit request to the customer's financial institution.

Abstract: Systems and methods for converting an application to new programming language or framework is provided. A source application written in a legacy framework is analyzed and divided into smaller segments of code. The smaller segments are evaluated for quality in view of best practices design for writing applications. A rubric is determined for each segment and compared to a best practice threshold. Segments can be evaluated for features that can be passed through a model. The model converts the features into code in the new programming language. Machine learning and rules databases are updated with details of the conversion.

Abstract: One or more processors receive, from one or more social-network sources, social-network data that identifies at least one potentially malicious source accessing a plurality of social-network profiles for a group of users. The one or more processors receive, from one or more e-mail servers, e-mail data associated with a plurality of e-mail messages received by the group of users. The one or more processors determine, based on the social-network data and the e-mail data, that an e-mail message of the plurality of e-mail messages is from the at least one potentially malicious source. The one or more processors output information identifying the e-mail message as being from the potentially malicious source.

Abstract: A method and system for processing electronic check presentment (ECP) data and check image data, where the check image data is transmitted electronically, either with the ECP data or separately. The ECP data has associated ECP sequence numbers assigned in connection with the preparation of an electronic cash letter (ECL). The check image data has associated image sequence numbers assigned to the image file that is transmitted with or following the ECL. A source key and an image key are defined for each item in the ECP data and the image data. An electronic check presentment (EIP) sequence number generated at the receiving financial institution, associates each presented electronic item with the ECP sequence number and image sequence number. System components include a transaction and image import server, an entry creation module, a cross-reference archive load module, a reject repair module, a post preprocessor module and a posting module.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing a plurality of financial documents, comprising, a document processor, wherein, for each financial document, the document processor captures data encoded on the financial document and an image of the financial document during a prime pass, and assigns a prime pass sequence number to each financial document. The apparatus includes a computer database in which the prime pass data and image is stored in association with the prime pass sequence number for the financial document. The document processor is adapted to determine whether the financial document should be rejected because the data and document image needs to be repaired or the data only needs to be repaired. If the data and image needs to be repaired, the document processor, or a desktop scanner/reader, recaptures the data and image, assigns a recapture sequence number to the financial document, and the recaptured data and image is stored in the computer database in association with the recapture sequence number.

Abstract: A method for updating detecting and loading CD volume indexes from a multiple-CD set to a cumulative volume table contained in a computer memory. The method employs an volume index file on each intermediate CD of the set along with a dual index file feature on the last CD of the set. The second index file on the last CD is a cumulative file of all the index files contained on all the CDs of the set. The cumulative index file on the last CD is compared to the cumulative volume table to generate a list of missing volumes which have not already been loaded into computer memory. The method permits determining whether a given CD is a single CD or a CD that is one of a multiple-CD set by detecting the presence of a second volume index file on the CD.

Abstract: A method for providing user access to a selected group of document images. A user-selected set of image properties may be specified so that each image in the group of images is presented for viewing with a particular orientation. The method is particularly adapted for viewing large numbers of financial document images to include check images.
