  • Publication number: 20160112672
Abstract: A system and method rely on a database having stored therein records relating to each a plurality of responders and having stored therein an indication of a field of expertise. User interface systems are registered with the system such that a query provided in association with a location or with a specific user interface system is analysed and a suitable responder is located from within the records of the database. A communication session between said responder and a provider of said query is then automatically established.

  • Publication number: 20150220785
Abstract: A method is disclosed including capturing video data relating to a venue, processing the data to extract content therefrom and providing the video data and content via a communication network to a reviewer. The reviewer then reviews the video data and content and provides review results relating to an accuracy of the content. The review data is then relied upon to improve future processing results or data reliability of the content.

  • Publication number: 20150220783
Abstract: A method is disclosed including capturing video data relating to a venue and providing the video data via a communication network to a reviewer. The reviewer then reviews the video data and provides review results relating to specific physical deficiencies at the venue to an input port of a system. Data indicative of the physical deficiencies are then transmitted from the system via the communication network to the venue. The deficiencies and known locations of the video images are correlated with physical locations within the venue. The correlation and data are then used to identify and provide deficiencies and their locations within the venue in a human intelligible form.

  • Patent number: 9008685
Abstract: A method of collecting RF fingerprint data in a cross-correlated manner is disclosed. At each of a plurality of locations RF signals are sensed with a wireless communication device to form first sensed data, the RF signals transmitted according to a first standard. At each of the plurality of locations RF signals are sensed with a wireless communication device to form second sensed data, the RF signals transmitted according to a second other standard. Location is sensed to provide location data relating to said location. Then, the first sensed data, the second sensed data and the location data are stored within a database for forming a plurality of RF fingerprints related to a plurality of locations.

  • Patent number: 8977287
Abstract: A method for determining a location of a mobile electronic device includes receiving from said device, at a first electronic device, a first RF signal comprising a wireless signal according to a first standard other than a GPS standard. First RF fingerprint data is provided based on the first RF signal. A second RF signal comprising a wireless signal according to a second standard other than a GPS standard is received from said device at a second electronic device. Second RF fingerprint data is provided based on the second RF signal. Device specific RF signal fingerprint data is determined in dependence upon each of the first and second RF fingerprint data. The location of the device is determined using the first RF signal, the device specific RF signal fingerprint data for the first standard, the second wireless signal, and the device specific RF signal fingerprint data for the second standard.

  • Patent number: 8781495
Abstract: A method is disclosed for determining a region of highest probability. At a first electronic device an RF signal is received comprising a first wireless signal and a second wireless signal is received. The first wireless signal and the second wireless signal are each other than solely a GPS signal. Based on both the first wireless signal and the second wireless signal, a region of highest probability is determined comprising an area of location estimates for the electronic device, the determined region of highest probability other than a region of highest probability determinable independently with each of the first RF signal and the second RF signal.

  • Patent number: 8666432
Abstract: A method is disclosed for determining a location of a mobile electronic device. The mobile electronic device receives an RF signal providing RF fingerprint data and receives a third party location estimate from a third party service. Location data is collected by a dead reckoning system and corresponds to RF fingerprint data and third party estimates collected for a plurality of locations. A correlation between the RF fingerprint data, the third party location estimates, and location data is determined providing a transform for transforming the third party location estimates into a more accurate location estimate of the mobile electronic device.
