  • Patent number: 11961172
Abstract: A system and method for object monitoring, detection, and segmentation in electro-optical (EO) satellite imagery data comprising an image processing engine configured to prepare EO data for analysis by an inference engine which utilizes one or more trained models to perform object detection or image segmentation. The workflow begins with ingesting satellite data, followed by de-hazing to remove atmospheric interference. Image enhancement improves resolution and geo-registration ensures precise spatial alignment. The processed image is then fed into a machine learning-based object detection or image segmentation network, trained to identify specific objects of interest. This integrated approach leverages advanced technologies to extract actionable insights from satellite data, enabling efficient and precise object monitoring, detection, and segmentation.

  • Publication number: 20240095219
Abstract: Techniques for discovering semantic meaning of data in fields included in one or more data sets, the method including: a first field having a previously-assigned label that indicates a semantic meaning of the first field; identifying a set of one or more candidate labels, for potential assignment to the first field instead of the previously-assigned label; evaluating, using a previously-determined label score and a first candidate label score, whether to assign a first candidate label to the first field, the evaluating comprising: when the first candidate label score is at least a first threshold amount greater than a previously-determined label score, presenting the first candidate label to a user by generating an interface through which the user can provide input indicating whether to assign the first candidate label to the first field instead of the previously-determined label.

  • Publication number: 20230334214
Abstract: A system and method for creating layout for semiconductor chips are described. In various implementations, an integrated circuit includes at least a first functional block and a second functional block. The first functional block includes circuitry that has a first set of parameters of a first process corner. The second functional block includes circuitry that has a second set of parameters of a second process corner different from the first set of parameters of the first process corner. For a same set of operating conditions, the second functional block has device characteristics different from device characteristics of the first functional block based on the first process corner and the second process corner being different from one another. The integrated circuit is fabricated with a process corner mask that indicates which areas of the die use the first process corner and which areas use the second process corner.

  • Publication number: 20230261999
Abstract: In one embodiment, a device of a software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) receives, from a cloud-native application, contextual data for the cloud-native application that identifies microservices of the cloud-native application. The device translates the contextual data for the cloud-native application into a network policy for traffic in the SD-WAN associated with the cloud-native application. The device applies the network policy to a traffic flow in the SD-WAN between an endpoint and a particular microservice of the cloud-native application.

  • Patent number: 11005293
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for beamforming for wireless power transfer. A phase/amplitude map for a notional field in a plane of an aperture of the second wireless power transfer device may be determined. A Fourier transform may be performed on the phase/amplitude map for the notional field to generate a spatial frequency representation of the notional field. A phase/amplitude map for a second notional field in a plane of an aperture of the first wireless power transfer device may be determined based on the spatial frequency representation of the notional field and the position of the second wireless power transfer device. Control signals for transducer elements of the first wireless power transfer device may be generated based on the determined phase/amplitude map for the second notional field. The control signals for the transducer elements may be supplied to the transducer elements.

  • Patent number: 10910889
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for beamforming for wireless power transfer. A position of a second wireless power transfer device relative to a first wireless power transfer device may be determined. A beam may be simulated as being transmitted from the position of the second wireless power transfer device. Phases of a wave front of the simulated beam that would be received by elements of the first wireless power transfer device may be determined. A control signal for each of the elements for which phases were determined may be generated based on the determined phase of the wave front that would be received at the element. The control signal for each of the elements for which phases were determined may be supplied to the elements for which phases were determined. A waveform may be transmitted from the elements for which phases were determined based on the supplied control signal.

  • Patent number: 10742267
Abstract: A signal generator generates an electrical signal that is sent to an amplifier, which increases the power of the signal using power from a power source. The amplified signal is fed to a sender transducer to generate ultrasonic waves that can be focused and sent to a receiver. The receiver transducer converts the ultrasonic waves back into electrical energy and stores it in an energy storage device, such as a battery, or uses the electrical energy to power a device. In this way, a device can be remotely charged or powered without having to be tethered to an electrical outlet.

  • Patent number: 10322570
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for laminate material bonding. A bonding agent may be applied to a first layer. A second layer may be placed onto the bonding agent on the first layer to form a laminate material. The laminate material may be placed between a first piece of non-compliant material with a first piece of compliant material and a second piece of non-compliant material with a second piece of compliant material. The laminate material may be in contact with the first piece non-compliant material and the second piece of non-compliant material. Pressure may be applied to the laminate material by applying pressure to the first piece of compliant material for a curing time of the bonding agent.

A bonding agent may be applied a portion of the photoresist that is not removed. A membrane may be placed on the ultrasonic device such that the membrane is in contact with the ultrasonic device through the bonding agent and the photoresist. The membrane and the ultrasonic device may be placed in between a first flat plate and a second flat plate, such that the second flat plate rests on top of the membrane. Light pressure may be applied to the membrane. The light pressure may be applied by one or more of the weight of the second flat plate and a pressure providing device applying pressure to either or both of the first flat plate and the second flat plate.
