  • Publication number: 20250025151
Abstract: A surgical construct includes a loop configured to be anchored in a bone tunnel, a tail extending from the loop and configured to pull the loop into the bone tunnel, and a repair strand having a section received in the loop. The repair strand extends from the loop in a direction away from the tail and has a free end configured to engage a tissue. A method of tissue repair using the surgical construct involves pulling the loop into the bone tunnel with the tail, bunching the loop to anchor it in the bone tunnel, and engaging a tissue with the repair strand.

  • Patent number: 11712235
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a surgical method for deploying implants for repairing damaged tissue, such as meniscus tears. One exemplary surgical device for use in the method includes a cannula and a pusher moveable within the cannula to deploy a plurality of implants. Movement of the pusher in the distal direction deploys a distal-most implant and moves any additional implants distally within the cannula. Thus, multiple implants can be loaded into the cannula and deployed using one pusher. The disclosed arrangement is easy to use and has fewer component parts compared to prior devices, which in turn increases the ease of manufacture and reduces cost.

  • Publication number: 20180085104
Abstract: A retracting probing instrument includes an outer tube having a longitudinal axis. The outer tube includes an inner passage and a tip. A probe includes an inner shaft having a distal end portion. At least a portion of the distal end portion of the inner shaft is made of nitinol. In an initial position, the distal end portion of the inner shaft is located in the inner passage of the outer tube. In a deployed position, the distal end portion of the inner shaft protrudes from the tip of the outer tube.
