  • Publication number: 20210002878
Abstract: A garbage disposal for saving space under a sink. The garbage disposal is a small, compact garbage disposal that takes less space under a sink. The garbage disposal further has a compact electric motor for conserving energy. The garbage disposal has a universal adaptor coupled to a drain in the sink. The universal adaptor is coupled to a receiving pipe for receiving waste and water. The receiving pipe has a plurality of magnets that are for removing metal from the waste. The garbage disposal has a garbage grinder coupled to the receiving pipe, where the waste is ground by one or more grinding steel blades. The garbage disposal has a motor that is communicatively coupled to grinding steel blades by a power transfer shaft.

  • Publication number: 20190045062
Abstract: A call is setup between an originating device (A) and a terminating device (B), which both have access to a public land mobile network (131, 132) and a mobile data network (121, 122). The originating and terminating devices device (A; B) include a respective software-implemented call handling tool (SWA; SWB) configured to assist a user in placing and receiving calls. Bridge nodes (140) are connected to the mobile data network (121, 122), the public land mobile network (131, 132) and a server node (110), which also is connected to the mobile data network (121, 122). In response to a call-setup command from a user of the originating device (A), the software-implemented call handling tool (SWA), on one hand, sends a call-setup request (1) to the server node (110); and on the other hand, makes a first call (2) to a first bridge node (140) over the public land mobile network (131) using a first telephone number (#1).

  • Publication number: 20180324305
Abstract: A group call is setup between one originating device (A) and at least two terminating devices (B, C), which each has access to a public land mobile network (131, 132, 133) and a mobile data net-work (121, 122, 123). The originating and terminating devices (A, B, C) include a respective software-implemented call handling tool (SWA, SWB, SWC) configured to assist a user in placing and receiving group calls. Bridge nodes (141, 142, 143) are connected to the mobile data network (121, 122, 123), the public land mobile network (131, 132, 133) and a server node (110), which, in turn, also is connected to the mobile data network (121, 122, 123).

  • Publication number: 20160162840
Abstract: A system and method for assigning and/or managing staffing needs. A software application may provide one or more portals or hubs that allow job requisitions to be created with particular user-defined requirements. A search is conducted, using both internal data and/or external data in order to find appropriate individuals to satisfy those job requisitions. The system and method may operate in conjunction with Managed Service Providers and Vendor Management Systems. Social features may be incorporated to aid in maintaining active user presence with the system and/or to promote targeted marketing and/or efficient referral systems. Referrals may take place by candidates themselves (e.g., referring another candidate) and/or by clients for different clients. Candidate curation methods may be included such that candidate mobility among different contracting jobs is more efficient and/or with less downtime between jobs.

  • Patent number: 5400902
Abstract: A system for storing and releasing a compact disc (CD) in storage unit, jewel box or other storage space The system includes a plurality of radially disposed clamp arms cantilevered about a raised area of a structure centrally located within a lower cover of the CD storage unit. CDs are pressed down over the clamp arms, causing detents to firmly hold the CD within the storage unit. A central button is provided for instantly releasing the CD from the insert-release system. The button actuates a crossed spring disposed below the CD. The spring includes outwardly extending legs, within which stresses are developed by pressing down on the central button prior to CD release. The central button eventually contacts the clamp arms to release the CD after stresses within the crossed spring are developed, causing the spring to pop the CD out from the insert-release system.
