  • Patent number: 12433359
Abstract: According to various embodiments, a glove is provided with improved hydration characteristics and low dermatitis potential. The glove comprises a substrate and a polymer system that coats a surface of the substrate. The polymer system comprises: a polyol, a botanical extract, an emollient agent, a silicone copolymer dispersion, a lubricant, and a surfactant. The substrate may be free of sulphur and accelerators. An example formulation of the polymer system may comprise glycerol, Aloe vera, a carnauba wax dispersion, dimethicone, a polyalkylene glycol (PAG), and polyoxyethylene (20) sorbitan monooleate. The polymer system may be applied to the\surface of the substrate by dipping the surface into a water-based dispersion of the polymer system, or spraying the water-based dispersion onto the interior surface. The polymer system may be blended into water at a total solids content of 0.8% to 1.2% w/w to form the water-based dispersion.

  • Patent number: 12359010
Abstract: The present invention relates to a polymer latex for dip-molding applications obtainable by free-radical emulsion polymerization of a mixture of ethylenically unsaturated monomers comprising at least one conjugated diene and at least one ethylenically unsaturated nitrile compound in an aqueous medium in presence of seed latex particles having a glass transition temperature (mid point temperature Tmg) measured by DSC according to ASTM D3418-03 of ?50° C. to 50° C. wherein the seed latex particles do not contain structural units derived from ethylenically unsaturated nitrile compounds, to a method of preparing said polymer latex, to articles made by using said polymer latex and to a method for preparing dip-molded articles from said polymer latex.

  • Publication number: 20250134194
Abstract: An elastomeric glove includes a superimposed texture provided on a surface of the elastomeric glove, including front and back of a palm region, a thumb region and fingers region, and the superimposed texture includes multiple units of a stellate convex polygon distributed on the surface of the elastomeric glove, with a tip at the center and folded at intersects of the polygon for gripping, diverting and channeling fluid away from the surface of the elastomeric glove. A synthetic latex formulation for producing the elastomeric glove is also disclosed.
