Abstract: According to the invention, there is provided a composition having pH adjusting capabilities for use with water to be used for spraying an agrochemical, said composition comprising: (a) not more than 98% by weight of the total composition of one or more carriers selected from the group consisting of lipophilic solvents selected from the group consisting of mineral oils, vegetable oils or alkyl esters of fatty acids and mixtures thereof; surfactants; and mixtures thereof; and (b) a buffering system comprising: (i) 0.1 to 10% by weight of the total composition of boric acid; (ii) 0.1 to 50% by weight of the total composition of an organic carboxylic acid containing up to six carbon atoms; and (iii) 0.2 to 50% by weight of the total composition of an organic amine to form complexes with (i) and (ii) which are soluble in the carrier.

Abstract: According to the invention an adjuvant for use with a chemical used in agriculture is provided comprising: (a) not in excess of about 75% by weight of one or more lipophilic solvents; (b) not in excess of about 50% by weight of one or more plant nutrients (e.g. ammonium salts of inorganic anions); and (c) not in excess of about 50% of a mixture of one or more cationic emulsifiers including surfactants which exhibit cationic characteristic in acidic conditions.

Abstract: A support assembly for a roadside or traffic signpost includes a mounting socket cylinder (13) fixed in the ground for receiving a support post (12) therein. A resilient support means in the form of a pair of O-rings (16) is interposable between the post and the mounting cylinder. A reinforcing collar (15) prevents deformation of adjacent (1 to 11) portions of the mounting cylinder and the post.
