  • Publication number: 20240131331
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to neuromodulation, and in particular to devices and techniques for delivering non-invasive neurostimulation to treat enuresis. Particularly, aspects of the present disclosure are directed to medical device comprising a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) device comprising an electronics module comprising: a controller configured to provide a set of stimulation parameters, and a pulse generator configured to generate neural stimulation based on the set of stimulation parameters. The medical device also includes one or more electrodes connected to the TENS device for delivering the neural stimulation generated by the pulse generator to a perineal region of a user, one or more gel pads for adhering the electrodes to the perineal region of the user, one or more sensors for detecting a triggering event for the neural stimulation, and a pad attached to the TENS device, the electrodes, the sensors, and the gel pads.

  • Publication number: 20140358099
Abstract: A moisture sensor unit for sending moisture in an environment includes a passive moisture sensor and two passive RFID tags. The two passive RFID tags are spaced apart from each other and disposed on opposite sides of the moisture sensor. Each of the RFID tags is electrically coupled to the moisture sensor and each of the RFID tags includes a circuit that determines an amount of moisture that is associated with the moisture sensor. Each of the RFID tags is configured to respond to a first radio frequency signal with a second radio frequency signal that includes information about the amount of moisture.

  • Publication number: 20060189940
Abstract: A system for delivering an injectable material to a site within a mammal, the system comprising a cannula and a needle. The cannula defining an aperture in a side wall thereof and comprising an angled ramp platform disposed within the cannula proximate to the aperture that extends proximally and inwardly away from proximate the distal end of the aperture. The needle is longitudinally movable within the cannula between a withdrawn position, at which a tip of the needle is stored within the cannula, to an extended position, at which the tip of the needle extends through the aperture of the cannula a predetermined distance from the side wall of the cannula. In one aspect, the system also includes a supply of injectable biocompatible bulking composition for controlling vesicoureteral reflux that is operatively connected to the needle.
