  • SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR OPTICAL CURING USING A REFLECTOR

    Abstract: Systems and methods for curing a curable coating with electromagnetic radiation are provided. The system may include a reflector having a focusing reflective surface, a source focal region, and an object focal region. An array of UV LEDs may be positioned within the source focal region to emit an electromagnetic radiation toward the focusing reflective surface. The focusing reflective surface can reflect light emitted by the array of UV LEDs toward the curing surface located within the object focal region of the reflector.
