  • Patent number: 10346482
Abstract: A method of contextual activity awareness content selection operates a switch to release a document viewer activation control to a first selector, operate the first selector to select the application location for the application interface, selects document view logs, associated with application location, operates document prioritization logic to calculates average document view rate, calculates an average view rate for each document at the application location, normalizes, weights, and rank average view rates document relevance set, operates a second selector to select matching documents and release to the document viewer, configures the document viewer to prioritize rendering based on document relevance set, operates the switch to release a document view signal to a compiler, in response to a document viewing in the document viewer, and operates the compiler to generate a new document view entry for the document viewing.

  • Patent number: 10311066
Abstract: A method of determining webpage abandonment configures webpages of a scoped domain to include at least one question and at least one associated answer displayable in response to receiving an explicit user interaction; implement tracking logic to generate a unique visitor ID, a unique webpage ID, and timestamp in response to detecting a webpage loading event on the scoped domain; generate a unique question/answer pair ID and timestamp in response to detecting an answer presentation event on the scoped domain; and operate a multiplexing switch to selectively transmit a webpage interaction entry and an answer presentation entry for storage in allocated of memory. The method filter for destination pages by the identified unique visitor IDs; configures a timer to filter for the associated destination pages for abandonment events based on the elapsed time; calculate a ranking metric to store question/answer pairs, and reposition stored question/answer pairs based on recursive operations.

  • Patent number: 10049148
Abstract: Text clustering includes: identifying, for a set of non-stop words in a text, a corresponding set of related topic clusters relating to the set of non-stop words, the identification being based at least in part on a plurality of topic clusters each comprising a corresponding plurality of topically related words and a corresponding cluster identifier; for non-stop words in the set of non-stop words that are identified to have corresponding related topic clusters, replacing the non-stop words with corresponding cluster identifiers of the corresponding related topic clusters to generate a clustered version of the text; and providing the clustered version of the text to be further analyzed.

  • Patent number: 10037491
Abstract: Context-based sentiment analysis includes: determining whether a piece of comment data included in a comment is context-sensitive, the determination being made with reference to a set of comment features; determining a context sentiment type of an associated context related to the piece of comment data, the associated context being distinct from the comment, in the event that the piece of comment data is determined to be context-sensitive, and the determination being made with reference to at least a set of context features; and classifying the comment data in the event that the piece of comment data is determined to be context-sensitive, the classification being based at least in part on the comment data and the context sentiment type.

  • Publication number: 20170140425
Abstract: A media player comprising a media usage module, a media usage analysis module, and an indicator. The media usage module is operable to monitor media usage over a time period and output media usage data including media genre type. The media usage analysis module is configured to derive one or more first user characteristics from the media usage data over the time period based on a user characteristic-to-genre association. The indicator module is configured to output one or more user characteristic indicators over the time period based on the derived one or more first user characteristics.
