  • Patent number: 11269592
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for systems and techniques for processing keywords in audio data are described. In some devices configured with a virtual assistant, an audio processing component may support a command-first, keyword-second voice activation procedure. The audio processing component may receive audio data from a microphone and may compress a portion of the audio data and store the compressed audio data in a first buffer and may store a portion of the audio data that is uncompressed in a second buffer. The audio processing component may use the uncompressed audio data to detect the presence of a keyword and use the compressed audio data to identify a command associated with the keyword. Upon detection of the keyword, the audio processing component may decompress the compressed audio data and transmit the decompressed audio data and the uncompressed audio data to a main processor of the device.

  • Patent number: 11031026
Abstract: Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for acoustic echo cancellation during playback of encoded audio are presented. In some embodiments, a decoder is arranged to decode an encoded media signal to produce an echo reference signal, and an echo canceler is arranged to perform an acoustic echo cancellation operation, based on the echo reference signal, on an input voice signal to produce an echo-cancelled voice signal. The echo canceler may be configured to reduce, relative to an energy of a voice component of the input voice signal, an energy of a signal component of the input voice signal that is based on audio content from the encoded media signal.

  • Publication number: 20080040207
Abstract: A method for facilitating supplier auditing functions in a communications network environment is disclosed. The method includes receiving a request from a user system of an enterprise system to initiate an activity. The activity includes assessing a supplier record for determining a need to schedule a supplier audit, and scheduling the audit for performing an initial or ongoing qualification of an existing or prospective trading partner of the enterprise system. Assessing the supplier record includes reviewing past audit activity, date of last audit, and results of past audits. The enterprise system retrieves data from at least one database, which corresponds to the request. The enterprise system includes a quality information network application for executing activity options that include the activity requested by the user system.

  • Publication number: 20070191044
Abstract: A system is implemented on a wireless network for adjusting a forward link power control parameter based on forward link feedback. A wireless unit is in communication with several base stations during soft handoff, and provides feedback relating to forward link quality, e.g., forward link pilot signal strength or traffic channel frame error rate. The feedback is compared to a comparison or reference point (such as target frame error rate, or a maximum pilot signal strength in the active set) chosen for gauging the quality or nature of the feedback for power control purposes. Based on this comparison, a power control parameter of one or more of the base stations may be adjusted upwards or downward. The power control parameter may be a forward link reference transmit power level “Pref” used to control base station power transmission levels in the presence of power control bit errors.
