  • Publication number: 20250120636
Abstract: Disclosed herein is urinary output monitoring system including a urinary collection device having a flow meter in communication with a monitor. The urinary collection device catheter includes a urine collection bag, a drainage tube and a urinary catheter. A console of the flow meter wirelessly communicates with a console of the monitor. The monitor depicts urine flow rate information on a display and wirelessly transmits urine flow rate information to an EMR system. The flow meter includes a flow meter identifier and the system links the urine flow rate information to the flow meter identifier. The monitor further links the flow meter identifier with a patient identification from the EMR system and depicts the patient identification on the display.

  • Publication number: 20230040915
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system for monitoring urine output of a patient. The system includes a collection canister coupled with a display module, the canister having a volume sensor to measure urine output, the measurement may be displayed or transmitted over a network. The system links an identification of the canister to an identification of the patient. A drainage tube is pre-coupled with the canister, and optionally, with the catheter, to define a closed system enclosed in a sterile preconnected tray. The volume sensor includes an ultrasonic sensor configured to detect a distance between the urine level and the top of the canister which is converted into a volume of urine within the canister. The display module is coupled with canister. The canister and the display module each include a console that includes logic stored in memory that, when executed by one or more processors, causes performance of operations.

  • Patent number: 6253684
Abstract: A stop mechanism for detaching a conveyor trolley from a drive system which normally drives the trolley along a conveyor track. A ramp can be moved into the path of a trolley dog so that the trolley dog moves upwardly along an inclined ramp surface to disengage the trolley dog from a drive dog carried by a driven chain of the conveyor system. The actuating mechanism for the ramp includes a pivotal cam plate actuated by a power cylinder. A cam slot in the cam plate receives a cam roller connected with a guide link which moves in a vertical guide slot. The guide link is connected with the ramp to move it up and down under the control of the actuating cylinder.
