  • Patent number: 9645229
Abstract: A radar or sonar system amplifies the signal received by an antenna of the radar system or a transducer of the sonar system is amplified and then subject to linear demodulation by a linear receiver. There may be an anti-aliasing filter and an analog-to-digital converter between the amplifier and the linear receiver. The system may also have a digital signal processor with a network stack running in the processor. That processor may also have a network interface media access controller, where the system operates at different ranges, the modulator may produce pulses of two pulse patterns differing in pulse duration and inter-pulse spacing, those pulse patterns are introduced and used to form two radar images with the two images being derived from data acquired in a duration not more than twenty times larger than the larger inter-pulse spacing, or for a radar system, larger than one half of the antenna resolution time. One or more look-up tables may be used to control the amplifier.

  • Publication number: 20160327278
Abstract: A cooking oven comprising a housing, a cavity, an oven door, an air plenum, an infrared heating element, and a thermal insulating layer placed between the infrared heating element and the air plenum is disclosed. The infrared hearing element comprises a wire-like heating element shaped in a serpentine-pattern to form a plurality of fingers. The thermal insulating layer comprises a plurality of air channels interconnecting the air plenum and the cavity, and one or more temperature decoupling chambers for thermally insulating the air plenum from the infrared heating element. The air channels are positioned interleavingly between the plurality of fingers so that airstreams coming from the air plenum through each of the air channels into the cavity do not substantially contact and convectively cool the infrared heating element. The temperature decoupling chambers may use air as a thermal insulator.

  • Patent number: 9483261
Abstract: Automated creation of augmented documentation fragments that are augmented with usage examples. A plurality of documentation fragments is stored, where each documentation fragment documents a software element and has at least one associated property. A corresponding source code software fragment that corresponds to at least one associated property of at least one software element is identified based on an automated software analysis process of source code within a source code repository and further based on a list of properties comprising each associated property of each software element within the plurality of software elements. An augmented documentation fragment that includes a selected documentation fragment and the at least one corresponding source code software fragment corresponding to at least one associated property of the selected documentation fragment is created in response to the identifying.

  • Publication number: 20160294876
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for authenticating a client device using a unique graphic identifier. A user device may generate a unique graphic identifier that includes at least one graphic object and at least one text graphic. The user device may convert the image data associated with the at least one graphic object and at least one text graphic to numeric values and combine the numeric values to form the unique graphic identifier. The client device may use the unquiet graphic identifier for verification/registration with another device or service. In one aspect, the unique graphic identifier may be combined with other identification information associated with the client device, such as an IP address, a hostname, and/or a browser string/operating system identifier to enable a more configurable and more secure verification process. Access rules may be defined for verification of only a subset of the identification information and the unique graphic identifier.

  • Publication number: 20160292447
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for encrypting data using a multi-layered encryption process. A service may encrypt data with first and second data keys and store the encrypted data. The system may encrypt the first data key with a first user key and the second data key with a second user key and store the data keys and the user keys in separate locations. The service may associate the user keys with a client device. In one aspect, the user keys may each include and be stored as a set of system keys and a set of ordered pairs of numeric values, with each ordered pair containing a start value and a read length value associated with one of the set of system keys. The service may assemble each user key by combining data from each of the system keys according to the associated ordered pair.
