Abstract: An apparatus for use with a machine tool that comprises a base plate with a cut hole; at least one drive motor attached to the base plate; at least one wheel mechanically attached to the at least one drive motor; a microprocessor electrically connected to the at least one drive motor, the microprocessor having a switch input and memory, the memory comprising parameters corresponding to the shape and position of a cut area and a cut point within the cut hole; a switch electrically connected to the switch input; and an optical sensor having an optical axis and a field of view, the optical sensor spaced a distance from the base plate between the first end and the cut hole and electrically connected to the microprocessor, the optical sensor oriented so that the cut hole is within the field of view.
