  • Patent number: 12274823
Abstract: In some illustrative examples, a bridge suitable for treating a tissue site may include a bridge sealing member and one or more bridge wicking layers. The bridge sealing member may extend along a length of the bridge, and may define an internal passageway in fluid communication between a receiving end of the bridge and a transmitting end of the bridge. The one or more bridge wicking layers may be disposed within the internal passageway of the bridge sealing member. Other apparatus, systems, and methods are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240364439
Abstract: A method to predict performance of different telecommunications technologies at a venue by obtaining event data of one or more events. The method can identify a geocode and a profile of a venue. The method can generate a coverage heatmap that includes network coverage of the venue by different telecommunications network technologies. The method can identify one or more network access nodes of the different telecommunications networks configured to provide coverage to the venue. The method can predict performance of the different telecommunications network technologies for a particular event indicated in the event data based on performance of the one or more network access nodes. The method can cause display, on a display device, of a performance prediction dashboard including data about the predicted performance.

  • Publication number: 20240104123
Abstract: System and method for control area visualization according to certain embodiments. For example, a method includes: receiving object data from a plurality of data sources; identifying a plurality of first objects associated with a first group based at least in part on the object data, each first object of the plurality of first objects being associated with a geospatial location and a buffer area; determining a first control area associated with the first group based at least in part on the geospatial location and the buffer area of each first object of the plurality of first objects; and causing a presentation of the first control area on a display.

  • Publication number: 20220347328
Abstract: A mobile device and method for using a mobile device to disinfect by eliminating bacteria, viruses, and pathogens is provided. The mobile device includes a disinfecting light emitting diode that emits UVC light only in the range of 200 nm to 220 nm to disinfect without harming human tissue. Disinfecting of an object or surface can be accomplished using the mobile device by turning on the LED to provide UVC light in a range of 200-220 nm and holding the mobile device about 0.5 to about 3.0 inches from an object to be disinfected.

  • Patent number: 8304784
Abstract: An illumination device having a plurality of light emitting diodes is provided. The light emitting diode may include a plurality of semiconductor layers at least one of which has a light emitting surface which may include a rough surface pattern having a pre-determined pattern. The pre-determined pattern may include one or more impurity regions with each region having a recess for guiding current across the light emitting surface and maximizing the emission of light (i.e. light intensity) of the illumination device. Each recess may include a lower internal portion having a bottom contact point located on a bottom surface and an upper internal portion integrally connected to the lower internal portion by a plurality of center contact points. The gaps created between the center and bottom contact points in adjacent recesses may act as spark gaps allowing for the current to flow through the entire light emitting surface.

  • Publication number: 20100213483
Abstract: An illumination device having a plurality of light emitting diodes is provided. The light emitting diode may include a plurality of semiconductor layers at least one of which has a light emitting surface which may include a rough surface pattern having a pre-determined pattern. The pre-determined pattern may include one or more impurity regions with each region having a plurality of peaks and valleys for directing the flow of current and causing an increase in the emission of light to reflect outwards from the light emitting surface while decreasing light reflected into the light emitting surface and as a result reducing the dissipation of heat. The plurality of impurity regions may be arranged such that a checkered pattern or configuration is formed by alternating the direction of the peaks and valleys in each region.

  • Publication number: 20100213869
Abstract: An illumination device having one or more light emitting diodes is provided. The illumination device may include an alternate current to direct current converter, a current regulator for receiving an output of the alternate current to direct current converter and a light source, containing the one or more of light emitting diodes, for receiving the regulated current from the current regulator. The regulated current may be applied to the one or more light emitting diodes causing the light emitting diodes to illuminate. The one or more light emitting diodes may be connected in series and each light emitting diode may include a light emitting surface having rough surface pattern for maximizing the light intensity of the light emitting diodes while minimizing the heat dissipating from the light emitting diodes.
