  • Publication number: 20240139900
Abstract: A chemical mechanical polishing apparatus has a platen to support a polishing pad, a carrier head comprising a rigid housing and configured to hold a surface of a substrate against the polishing pad, a motor to generate relative motion between the platen and the carrier head so as to polish the substrate, an in-situ carrier head monitoring system including a sensor positioned to interact with the housing and to detect vibrational motion of the housing and generate signals based on the detected vibrational motion, and a controller. The controller is configured to generate a value for a carrier head status parameter based on received signals from the in-situ carrier head monitoring system, and change a polishing parameter or generate an alert based on the carrier head status parameter.

  • Publication number: 20240114318
Abstract: Techniques for adjusting the strengths of signals received from a transmitter based on the transmitter's likely location are disclosed herein. An example method includes receiving, by one or more processors, location information corresponding to one or more respective areas expected to be visited by an individual; receiving, by the one or more processors, measurements indicative of signal strengths of one or more signals transmitted by a transmitter associated with the individual and received by one or more receivers configured to receive one or more signals transmitted by the transmitter, the one or more receivers being positioned at respective receiver locations corresponding to one or more respective areas; and adjusting, by the one or more processors, the received measurements indicative of the signal strengths of the one or more signals transmitted by the transmitter based on the one or more respective areas expected to be visited by the individual.

  • Patent number: 11911611
Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for measuring an impedance of one or more target cells before and after an electroporation protocol has been applied to the one or more target cells. The result of the impedance measurement provides a feedback control that can be implemented during and/or after the electroporation protocol to customize the electrical treatment for a particular target cell or cellular tissue.

  • Patent number: 11433032
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of removing a cover from a bodily surface of a subject. The method may comprise applying a cover removal device to a portion of the cover that is disposed on the bodily surface of the subject, thereby generating a connection between the cover removal device and the portion of the cover. The method may comprise moving the cover removal device across the bodily surface of the subject in order to selectively remove the cover from the bodily surface and capture the cover onto the cover removal device, without the cover removal device substantially affecting or interfering with the bodily surface of the subject.

  • Publication number: 20220142862
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an injectable medication security device. The device may comprise a recess on a first portion of the device. The recess may be configured to receive and couple to a neck portion of a vial containing the injectable medication. The device may comprise an opening on a second portion of the device, to permit access to a penetrable cover of the vial. The device may comprise at least one aperture configured to control access to the opening. The device may comprise a depressible switch. The depressible switch may be configured to cause the at least one aperture to open and provide access to the opening when the depressible switch is depressed, thereby permitting the medication to be drawn from the vial. The depressible switch may be configured to cause the at least one aperture to lock and close the opening when the depressible switch is released.

  • Patent number: 4761111
Abstract: A truck for towing disabled vehicles is provided with a cab controlled or a remote controlled vehicle lifting assembly including pairs of claws which may be positioned to engage a pair of the wheels of a vehicle and then be actuated to cradle the wheels and enable the vehicle to be lifted and towed, the vehicle being carried on its own suspension system during towing. The assembly includes a crane mounted and arranged so that the load thereon is carried forward of the rear axle of the tow truck--this increases the tow capacity of the truck and provides stable operation of the crane. The positioning of the claws is effected by hydraulic actuators of the like which may be operated by remote control.

  • Patent number: 4473334
Abstract: A truck for towing disabled vehicles is provided with a cab controlled or a remote controlled vehicle lifting assembly including pairs of claws which will automatically engage a pair of the wheels of a vehicle and enable the vehicle to be lifted and towed, the vehicle being carried on its own suspension system during towing. The assembly includes a crane mounted and arranged so that the load thereon is carried forward of the rear axle of the tow truck--this increases the tow capacity of the truck and provides stable operation of the crane. The claw assembly may be locked by a ratchet and strap arrangement which retains the vehicle wheels in the assembly in their forward position and prevents release due to jolts and bouncing.
