An operation on the objects may be performed to generate a configuration of a device in response to receiving an event. The configuration may include the objects. Each customization message may be selectively applied to the objects in the configuration to customize the configuration. An object may be updated via the customization message if the predicates match the object in the configuration. The device may be configured via the customized configuration.
