  • Publication number: 20240122541
Abstract: A multi-module wearable device. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, there is provided a system, including: a first wearable instrument; a second wearable instrument including a biometric sensor; an electrical connection between the first wearable instrument and the second wearable instrument; and a strap, sized and dimensioned to be disposed about a wrist. The electrical connection may be capable of connecting the first wearable instrument to the second wearable instrument when the second wearable instrument is at a first position on the strap relative to the first wearable instrument, and of connecting the first wearable instrument to the second wearable instrument when the second wearable instrument is at a second position on the strap relative to the first wearable instrument.

  • Publication number: 20220390513
Abstract: An input selector for electrically connecting one of a plurality of test signals from a device under test to a test and measurement instrument includes a multiplexer having multiple inputs, each of the multiple inputs coupled to a different one of the plurality of test signals from the device under test, and having an output of a selected one of the multiple inputs, and an amplifier coupled to the output of the multiplexer for amplifying the selected test signal of the device under test before being sent as an output of the input selector to the test and measurement instrument. In alternative architectures, two or more amplifiers are coupled to the plurality of test signals, and the multiplexer selects an output of one of the two amplifiers to pass to a measurement instrument for testing.

  • Publication number: 20210297882
Abstract: Systems and methods for automated recognition of a device under test and retrieving data associated with the device under test based on the recognition. The systems and methods include receiving a recognition key based on an identifying characteristic of the device under test, matching the received recognition key to a stored key in a database, retrieving data related to the stored key when the received recognition key matches the stored key, transmitting instructions to perform an action on a test and measurement device based on the retrieved data, receiving new data related to the device under test, and updating the data in the database related to the stored key with the new data.

  • Patent number: 10567330
Abstract: Methods and systems of dynamic comment are provided. A comment library stores comment entries and provides a basis for determining comment selections dynamically. Metadata associated with the comment entries may also be stored in the comment library. A set of comment selections may be determined based on the context in which a user is commenting on the digital content and the user's input. A comment library may be searched for matching instances of the user's input to determine the set of comment selections.

  • Publication number: 20170356272
Abstract: A technique facilitates control over fluid flow via controlled operation of an injection valve. The technique enables control over operation of the injection valve in a variety of subsurface applications. The injection valve comprises a flapper which may be selectively shifted to and held in an open position. Depending on the operational configuration of the injection valve, the flapper may be shifted to the open position via fluid flow along a primary flow passage. However, the injection valve also may be shifted to the open position via a separate actuator controllable via pressure applied independently of fluid flow along the primary flow passage.

  • Patent number: 7740743
Abstract: A polymer comprising i) a synthetic polymeric component that has been formed from an ethylenically unsaturated water-soluble or potentially water-soluble monomer and an ethylenically unsaturated monomer carrying a reactive group, wherein the reactive group is directly reactive with a cellulose binding domain protein; and ii) a protein component consisting of a cellulose binding domain protein, wherein the cellulose binding domain protein. The polymer is particularly suitable as a dry strength resin in a paper making process. It can also be used as a wet strength resin, internal sizing agent or surface sizing agent.

  • Patent number: 6742176
Abstract: A secure flexible plugin architecture allows plugins to dynamically interconnect in highly flexible arrangements to permit the handling of many kinds of file formats. Interconnection is self-administered through a supervised volunteer system. In a media player example, the system is capable of handling files with multiple layers of formatting such as encryption, compression, etc. The resource selection is completely transparent and a user need not be concerned about the packaging of resource files. A security mechanism that is enforced at the level of the plugins is also provided. Plugins can opt in or out depending on the other components in the dynamically generated chain of plugins used to filter or convert a file.
