  • Publication number: 20240090789
Abstract: Apparatus for performing impedance measurements on a subject. The apparatus includes a first processing system for determining an impedance measurement procedure and determining instructions corresponding to the measurement procedure. A second processing system is provided for receiving the instructions, using the instructions to generate control signals, with the control signals being used to apply one or more signals to the subject. The second processing system then receives first data indicative of the one or more signals applied to the subject, second data indicative of one or more signals measured across the subject and performs at least preliminary processing of the first and second data to thereby allow impedance values to be determined.

  • Patent number: 10518317
Abstract: A method of moulding a settable material includes the steps of: (i) providing a first mould or mould cavity; (ii) providing an outlet from which a settable material is discharged; (iii) aligning the first mould or mould cavity with the outlet; (iv) discharging settable material from the outlet into the first mould or mould cavity; (v) providing a second mould or mould cavity; (vi) displacing the first mould or mould cavity away from the outlet; (vii) aligning the second mould or mould cavity with: (a) the outlet; and (b) the first mould or mould cavity such that the second mould or mould cavity is in fluid communication with the first mould or mould cavity; (viii) discharging settable material from the outlet into the second mould or mould cavity; (ix) permitting a portion of the settable material discharged into the second mould or mould cavity to flow from within the second mould or mould cavity to within the first mould or mould cavity; (x) further displacing the first mould or mould cavity and the second

  • Patent number: 7059812
Abstract: A portable hand-held multiple bit drill imparts a set of linearly aligned work areas of a work piece, which work areas are respectively and simultaneously drilled by the respective drill bits. A rotary power source communicates with a hand-held body holding a plurality of chucks. Each pair of adjacent chucks having a uniform pre-set spacing apart from each other. The drill chucks holding the drill bits are rotated by respective linearly aligned drive gears, which are rigidly attached to respective shafts driving each respective chuck of the plurality of chucks. The drive gears are rotated by a centrally located central gear, which is attached to a central drive shaft emerging from the hand held housing. The central gear is driven by the power source and each drive gear is a meshed idler gear, which reverses direction, such that all the drive gears are rotated in a same, pre-determined direction.

  • Patent number: 6083073
Abstract: The hand held battery operated educational toy simulating a remote control comprises: a housing having openings through an upper wall there of; a plurality of translucent push buttons each extending upward through one of the openings. Several of the buttons are a light actuation button and several of the buttons are a sound actuation button. A plurality of switches each linked with one of the push buttons and light emitting circuitry located in the housing produces specific and random lighting patterns. This includes two light emitting elements in the housing not positioned under a push button. The lighting circuitry causes light emitting elements to activate for a short period after the corresponding switches are closed by depressing a light and sound actuation button.
