  • Publication number: 20240161425
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program and method for performing operations comprising: receiving, by a messaging application, a video feed from a camera of a user device that depicts a face; receiving a request to add a 3D caption to the video feed; identifying a graphical element that is associated with context of the 3D caption; and displaying the 3D caption and the identified graphical element in the video feed at a position in 3D space of the video feed proximate to the face depicted in the video feed.

  • Patent number: 11675198
Abstract: Eyewear providing an interactive augmented reality experience by displaying virtual 3D content in a 3D frame on a display forming a field of view (FOV). The user can manipulate the displayed 3D frame using control components, such as touchpad of the eyewear device and the mobile device including control components. The 3D frame is displayed around the 3D content to avoid FOV clipping of the 3D content by the display which distracts from the virtual experience and draws attention to the device's limitations. The 3D frame is illustrated as a window positioned in a central portion of a virtual scene displayed on display. The 3D frame can be manipulated with reference to the virtual scene by the user using the control inputs, such as by rotating the 3D frame about a non-visual vertical axis within the virtual scene to create a seamless transition. Upon advancing the 3D frame to the next/previous frame having different 3D content, an event, such as playing animation, can be triggered.

  • Patent number: 11345001
Abstract: A socket for rotatably fastening or unfastening a jackbolt of a multi jackbolt tensioner the socket extending between a first end and a second end such that the first end is adapted to receive the jackbolt, the socket comprising: a passage extending along a length of the socket to receive a head of the jackbolt, the passage being defined by a plurality of even-numbered internal side walls dimensioned to engage a plurality of sides of the head of the jackbolt received therein, the socket having a central axis with diametrically opposed pairs of said side walls being parallel to each other, and pairs of adjacent side walls meeting to form corner portions to receive corners of the jackbolt head; a plurality of guiding members arranged circumferentially about an opening of the passage to guide the head of the jackbolt into the passage and align the plurality of sides of the head of jackbolt such that corners of the jackbolt head are aligned into position with corner portions of said pairs of adjacent side walls.
