  • Publication number: 20240100609
Abstract: A holesaw system comprises a holesaw including a base and a generally cylindrical wall with a proximal end coupled to the base and a distal end with a cutting edge; a pilot drill bit including a front cutting tip, a rear shank portion, and an intermediate portion between the front cutting tip and the rear shank portion; and an arbor coupleable to the holesaw and to the pilot drill bit. The arbor is configured to be operable in a first mode in which the holesaw and the pilot drill bit are rotatable in unison to form a hole in a workpiece and in a second mode in which the pilot drill bit is rotatable independently of the holesaw to remove a plug of material from the holesaw.

  • Publication number: 20230123665
Abstract: Apparatuses, methods and storage medium associated with compensating for a sensor deficiency in a heterogeneous sensor array are disclosed herein. In embodiments, an apparatus may include a compute device to aggregate perception data from individual perception pipelines, each of which is associated with respective one of different types of sensors of a heterogeneous sensor set, to identify a characteristic associated with a space to be monitored by the heterogeneous sensor set; detect a sensor deficiency associated with a first sensor of the sensors; and in response to a detection of the sensor deficiency, derive next perception data for more than one of the individual perception pipelines from sensor data originating from at least one second sensor of the sensors. Other embodiments may be disclosed or claimed.

  • Patent number: 11520331
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed that provide an apparatus to analyze vehicle perspectives, the apparatus comprising a profile generator to generate a first profile of an environment based on a profile template and first data generated by a first vehicle; a data analyzer to: determine a difference between the first profile and a second profile obtained from a first one of one or more nodes in the environment; and in response to a trigger event, update the first profile based on the difference; and a vehicle control system to: in response to the trigger event, update a first perspective of the environment based on one or more of second data from the first one of the one or more nodes or the updated first profile; update a path plan for the first vehicle based on the updated first perspective; and execute the updated path plan.

  • Patent number: 7033143
Abstract: This invention relates to a pumping system. The design of the system is such that bi-directional operation can be achieved using a significantly smaller and hence lighter unit than those currently available. It uses the direction of rotation of the drive shaft to control the opening and closure of the by-pass means for controllably returning the fluid to the first reservoir.

  • Patent number: 6680942
Abstract: A new directory service is established for a peer router receiving a data packet from an end station on a local area network connected to a port of the peer router, the peer router hereinafter being referred to as the source router. The data packet is addressed to a destination address. The source router determines that the data packet is to be encapsulated as an encapsulated packet, and the encapsulated packet routed by a peer-to-peer protocol to a destination router. The destination router then transmits the packet onto a local area network to the destination address. The source router locates the proper peer destination router by use of a database. The database is maintained on a server, where the database has entries for destination address, and an entry for a particular destination address gives the address of a peer router capable of routing a packet to that particular destination address.
