  • Patent number: 11921526
Abstract: A method for controlling a heated process of an electric heater includes obtaining a setpoint variable indicating a target temperature of the heater. The method includes identifying an energy profile for the heater based on the setpoint variable. The energy profile provides a defined magnitude of initial electrical energy to be applied to the heater to have a temperature of the heated process reach the target temperature. The method includes obtaining a process variable indicating a performance characteristic of the heated process. The method includes providing electrical energy to the heater based on at least one of the energy profile and the process variable.

  • Patent number: 9934518
Abstract: Various embodiments may be generally directed to techniques and an apparatus to generate a plurality of rate indices from the historical rate information for one or more products, each of the rate indices associated with a different lead time, and determine a rate index from the plurality of rate indices associated with an optimal lead time based on a maximum correlation between the rate index and a reputation index, the reputation index based on the historical reputation information for the one or more products. In addition, a multiple linear regression model comprising one or more parameters may be generated using the rate index, the reputation index, and one or more indicator values, the multiple linear regression model may be used to determine a reputation impacted rate for a product.

  • Patent number: 8645377
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed herein for aggregating web-based data stored in a distributed data store so that it can be retrieved in a first-in, first-out (FIFO) manner. A unique aggregation key is generated for respective one or more data generated from a web-based event, where the one or more data are added to the distributed data store, and the aggregation key corresponds merely to the data generated from the web-based event. The one or more data from the web based event is aggregated in a FIFO queue and stored in a same partition of the distributed data store, based on the aggregation key.
