  • Patent number: 10273754
Abstract: A mobile drilling rig is mountable on a separate drive chassis having running gear. A separate main frame may be having elongated members, each having outer end extensions and vertically adjustable support posts thereon. A slide chassis is slidable on one end of the main frame mounting a power plant, and a mast pivot support pivotally mounted on the other end of the main frame. An elongated mast has a drill head movable thereon, with the mast pivot support slidably mounting the mast thereon so that the mast may be pivoted between vertical and horizontal orientations thereon while being movable in lengthwise directions. The slide chassis, the mast and drill head are moved to positions improving the stability of the rig when traversing grades in an up or down hill direction.

  • Patent number: 9062428
Abstract: A method and pumping/drainage channel member for injecting surface water into the soil beneath a ground area includes drilling a series of holes and inserting an elongated pumping/drainage members into each hole extending downwardly into the soil. The pumping/drainage channel members comprise a cluster of integrally joined channel features each formed with a lengthwise extending slot opening. Surface water flows to the pumping/drainage member, enters the channels and drains down the pumping/drainage members to enhance water movement down into the soil to reduce runoff and help to recharge acquifers. Longer members may be installed between shorter members in a pattern to achieve more rapid injection of water deep into the subsoil.

  • Publication number: 20080083175
Abstract: A method and device for enhancing water percolation around a building or improvement area includes drilling a series of seepage holes beyond the deflector plates with drainage rods installed in the respective holes extending downwardly into the soil. The drainage rods comprise a cluster of integrally joined generally tubular features each formed with a lengthwise extending slot. Migrating ground water intercepts the rods, enters the slots and drains down the rods to enhance water percolation into the soil.
