  • Publication number: 20240012455
Abstract: A variable holder module secures a variety of different expansion cards that may be installed within a computer or other information handling system. The holder module has a multi-sided component that is orientable according to which expansion card is to be secured within the computer. Each side of the component may thus correspond to a different one of the expansion cards. Once the expansion card is determined, a human or robotic picker need only orient component to the side that corresponds to the make/model of the expansion card. The holder module is thus adaptable to secure many different expansion cards that may be installed within the computer.

  • Patent number: 11822828
Abstract: Storage objects are mapped to host applications in a storage domain. Each of the storage objects is analyzed to determine importance in terms of predetermined criteria such as quality of service of the storage object, replication level of the storage object, size of the storage object, input-output loading of the storage object, and input-output loading of a host application that uses the storage object. Storage objects that satisfy predetermined importance characteristics are automatically tagged with the name of the host application that uses the storage object. The storage objects may also be tagged with the names of data structures that satisfy predetermined importance characteristics. Storage groups, masking views, and volume devices may also be tagged.

  • Patent number: 11795886
Abstract: Operating an engine system and fuel system includes energizing a solenoid actuator for a spill valve in a fuel injector in a first engine cycle via a standard waveform to inject a shot of fuel. Operating an engine system and fuel system further includes determining suitability for reduced energy operating of the fuel system, and energizing the solenoid actuator via a reduced energy waveform based on the determining suitability so as to inject one or more shots of fuel in a second engine cycle. • Publication number: 20230267473
Abstract: In one embodiment, a predictive contextual transaction scoring system receives transaction review data associated with person-to-person transactions from a marketplace, the transaction review data including feedback information relating to the person-to-person transaction. The system identifies contextual characteristics of the person-to-person transactions by analyzing the feedback information related to the person-to-person transactions. The system pairs a first party requesting a service to a second party providing the requested service by matching a contextual characteristic of the first party to a contextual characteristic of the second party. The system also predicts a transaction score for a new person-to-person transaction involving the first party and the second party, and provides the predicted transaction score to the marketplace to facilitate pairing of the first party requesting the service.

  • Patent number: 11677783
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for automatically analyzing emails that have been flagged as being potentially malicious (e.g., phishing attempts) to determine whether the permit or block the email. The systems and methods can use a scoring framework to determine whether the email is part of a phishing attempt. A set of rules are provided, and points are awarded to the email based on which of a set of rules are satisfied for the email. An email that exceeds a scoring threshold can be identified as a phishing attempt for potential evaluation, and can be routed to a security analyst for further analysis and process. After a predetermined period of time, the system can rerun analysis of emails which have not been identified as phishing attempts and determine if such emails now exceed the scoring threshold.
