  • Patent number: 12014155
Abstract: Pre-fix matching may constrain the generation of next token predictions. Input text to perform a next token prediction may be received. Multiple tokens may be determined from the input text, including a partial token. From possible tokens, one or more matching possible tokens with the partial token may be identified. Next token predictions may then be filtered using the identified possible tokens in order to ensure that the partial token is matched.

  • Patent number: 11982075
Abstract: Fluid-dispensing systems and methods relating thereto are described. A method of dispensing an output fluid stream includes: (i) receiving a temperature setting for a desired temperature of the output fluid stream and a mechanical disturbance for a desired flow rate of the output fluid stream; (ii) converting each of the temperature setting and the mechanical disturbance to a first valve PWM signal and a second valve PWM signal; (iii) conveying the first PWM signal to a first motor and the second PWM signal to a second motor; and (iv) activating the first motor to open the first valve to produce a first fluid flow at a first fluid flow rate and second motor and the first motor to open the second valve to produce a first fluid flow at a first fluid flow rate. The combination of the first fluid flow and the second fluid flow produces the desired output fluid stream.

  • Patent number: 11975943
Abstract: In a handrail including a carcass, a stretch inhibitor within the carcass, and a sliding layer bonded to the carcass, at least a portion of the carcass has a gas phase dispersed in a solid polymer matrix. The gas phase can reduce a density of the carcass by at least 5% or 10%, or about 15%, as compared to a density of the polymer matrix. The carcass can have a generally uniform distribution of gas bubbles in the polymer matrix, which can define a generally closed cell structure in the polymer matrix. The gas phase can be formed of particles of a syntactic foam dispersed in the polymer matrix. The handrail can further include a cover. The carcass and the cover can be formed of thermoplastic materials, and the cover can represent between 10 and 30% of the overall TPU required for the handrail.

  • Publication number: 20240096183
Abstract: A system providing various improved processing techniques for haptic feedback is described. An acoustic field is defined by one or more control points in a space within which the acoustic field may exist. Each control point is assigned an amplitude value equating to a desired amplitude of the acoustic field at the control point. Transducers are then controlled to create an acoustic field exhibiting the desired amplitude at each of the control points. When human skin interacts with the acoustic field, vibrations of the skin are interpreted by mechanoreceptors being excited and sending signals to the brain via the nervous system. Improved processing techniques allow for more efficient real-world operation.

  • Publication number: 20230419036
Abstract: Random token segmentation may be implemented for next token prediction. Text data may be received for training a machine learning model to predict a next token given input text tokens. Multiple tokens may be determined from the text data. Different ones of the multiple token may be randomly segmented in to sub-tokens. The machine learning model may then be trained using the multiple tokens including the respective sub-tokens as a training data set.

  • Publication number: 20230418565
Abstract: Code completion suggestions may be proactively obtained and validated. An event that triggers obtaining a code completion suggestion for inclusion in a code file being edited using an integrated development environment may be detected. The code completion suggestion may be obtained. The characters of the code completion suggestion may be compared with characters added to the code file after the detection of the event that triggered obtaining the code completion suggestion to determine whether the code completion suggestion is valid. A valid code completion suggestion may then be displayed.

  • Patent number: 11827446
Abstract: In a capsule containing a substance constituted by a mass of loose, solid particles, for the preparation of a potable beverage by extracting and/or dissolving the substance by means of supplying a fluid under pressure into the capsule, a screen, permeable to water and impermeable to a predominant portion of particles of the substance is positioned between the substance and the bottom. The screen is attached to the capsule body along attachment zones spaced from the center and circumferentially spaced from each other. A beverage brewing system comprising such a capsule, a method of use of such a capsule and a method of attaching a screen into a capsule body are described as well.

  • Publication number: 20230256215
Abstract: A sinus dilation instrument useful with a navigation system and including a handle, a rigid probe, a balloon, and an identifier device. The probe extends from the handle, forms a curved segment, and carries the balloon. The identifier device is programmed to generate a signal indicative of an instrument identification assigned to the instrument, and is a frontal, maxillary or sphenoid sinus instrument. The signal is formatted to be recognized by an IGS. Once connected, the IGS recognizes the instrument and can retrieve information indicative of a spatial location of the balloon, for example via an instrument tracking device. A surgeon can “plug and play” the sinus dilation instrument with the IGS to perform a procedure.
