  • Publication number: 20250135533
Abstract: A component includes a dense base region, a dense replacement region and an additively manufactured (AM) porous region between the dense base region and the dense replacement region. The porous region has a porosity between 2% to 50% open space volume to total volume of the AM porous region. The porous region can be printed onto the base region or the replacement region. A braze material couples the base region, the porous region and the replacement region together, and infiltrates into the porous region based at least on a characteristic of the porosity. The porous region reduces stress at a joint between the dense regions and can be customized to create different physical characteristic(s) than just those of the base and replacement regions.

  • Publication number: 20250141085
Abstract: An antenna mountable to a window to provide non-destructive installation and removal therefrom. The antenna has a substrate of dielectric material having a first surface with patterned conductive material providing a main radiator and ground plane, and a back surface of patterned conductive material providing a feeding circuit, which capacitively conveys and receives, via the substrate, RF signals with the main radiator and ground plane. The main radiator and ground plane, and preferably the feeding circuit, are each radiating structures to achieve different frequency ranges, such as over VHF, UHF, and cellular bands, with wideband performance. The antenna is configured to resemble a semitransparent sunshade by the antenna body being perforated, through the front and back thereof, with holes enabling a majority of the antenna body to appear semitransparent for screening sunlight. One or more fixtures are utilized for detachably mounting the antenna along a surface of a window.

  • Publication number: 20250141777
Abstract: Ghost routing is a network verification technique that uses a portion of a production network itself to verify the impact of potential network changes. Ghost routing logically partitions the production network into a main network and a ghost network. The main network handles live traffic while the ghost network handles traffic generated for diagnostic purposes. The ghost network may have a network topology identical to the production network and may use the same hardware and software as the production network. An operator may implement a network configuration change on the ghost network and then use verification tools to verify that the network configuration change on the ghost network does not result in bugs. Verifying on the ghost network may not affect the main network. If the network operator verifies the network configuration change on the ghost network, the network operator may implement the network configuration change on the main network.

  • Publication number: 20250142782
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cooling plate for thermal management of a system such as an electronic. A unitary, single-material cooling plate can be formed from three stacked flat aluminum sheets, including a top sheet, a bottom sheet, and a middle sheet. An open channel is formed in the middle sheet by laser cutting, and enclosed by the top and bottom sheets. The top and bottom sheets are secured to the middle sheet through continuous laser welds applied around the circumference of the open channel and laser welding applied around the outer perimeter of the cooling plate. Flow modifiers or sensor assemblies may be encapsulated within the middle sheet open channel. The open channel may, in some embodiments, constitute a single open coolant chamber, with islands of material positioned therein and welded to the top and bottom sheets. Methods for manufacture of such cooling plates are also disclosed.
