    Abstract: An eight-sided beach blanket having integral pockets is disclosed herein. The beach blanket has a main body section, elongated edges, top and bottom edges, and slanted edges. The beach blanket has pockets located at its slanted edges. The pockets may be sealed by a zipper or VELCRO® tape. The pockets may be formed by folding the comers of the beach blanket inward and sewing the perimeter of the corners to the surface of the main body section of the beach blanket.
