  • Patent number: 5613459
Abstract: A storage accessory is used in conjunction with a personal watercraft in order to increase the storage capacity of the personal watercraft. The storage accessory has a rigid container that forms a storage compartment. The storage container is cylindrical so as to fit inside of a toroid inflatable tube. The tube has a cover around its sides and bottom. A flange is coupled to the container and bears on the top of the tube so as to keep the bottom of the container flush with the bottom of the tube. The tube cover is coupled to the stern of the personal watercraft with a multi point coupling so as to cause some deformation of the tube. This makes the storage accessory an extension of the watercraft hull so that the storage accessory moves in unison therewith. The leading edge of the storage accessory rides on top of the transom so that the water propulsion jet is located underneath the storage accessory, pushing it up. The storage accessory can be removed from the tube and used as a table.

  • Patent number: 5279510
Abstract: A riding apparatus has an inflatable member, a cover and a cushion. The inflatable member has a cavity that has a top end and a bottom end. The cover has a bottom wall and side walls that form an enclosure for receiving the inflatable member. The cushion is located on the bottom wall so as to extend across the bottom end of the inflatable member cavity. A rider sitting in the cavity of the riding apparatus sits or kneels on the cushion. The cushion is secured inside of the cover by clamping the edge portions of the cushion between the inflatable member and the cover.

  • Patent number: 5122086
Abstract: A riding apparatus has a cover and plural inflatable tubes for towing several riders at once. The tubes are toroidally shaped and can be of the type used in vehicle tires. The cover has elongated, flexible top and bottom members coupled together at the sides. Plural cavities are formed between the top and bottom members. Each cavity matingly receives a tube. Each cavity communicates with the adjacent cavities so that each tube contacts the adjacent tubes at tangent points. The tangential points of contact between the tubes and the flexible top and bottom members coupling the tubes together allow each tube to pitch up and down with respect to the adjacent tubes. A towing harness is attached to the cover.
